Old Ones The Imperium (Dark Tower) vs Downstreamers (Manifold)

Speed unequalized means the Downstreamers win through immeasurable speed, omniscience and high-scale reality-warping alone, especially since we have no clue as to whether or not the Old Ones' tech allowed them to travel at a speed even remotely comparable to a typical High 1-B. That's the drawback of being ranked at said tier due to vaguely-defined technological prowess.

Even then though, the Downstreamers are transcendant, abstract high-hyperverse-shapers akin to the likes of Gan, Bessa and the Crimson King. (Albeit without anywhere near the kind of meta-hax or conceptual power those three possess) The DT Old Ones' best feat was replacing infinite-dimensional Beams of the Dark Tower with their own far inferior mechanical replicas which eventually began to deteriorate over time, and the Old Ones themselves were merely average humans with absurdly advanced magi-technological capabilities that were still much less powerful than the aforementioned deities beyond which they attempted to place themselves in the grand scheme. More than that, it's said that much of their advancements came about thanks to the assistance of the wizard Maerlyn, who (even with his ridiculous magical abilities as described within the legends) most likely wasn't Downstreamer-level in the slightest.

Point-blank, the Downstreamers have the Imperium licked by a country mile. They take this with mid-difficulty at most.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and they have High-Godly regen, meaning any amount of 'jack shit' the Imperium is able to do to them won't last long.

Oh, I forgot to mention. The Old Ones managed to wipe themselves out with weapons that weren't even remotely as strong as their reality-warping tech, judging from the laser cannon John Farson's men commandeered and fired upon some hapless old man they'd captured and interrogated.

Meanwhile, the Pre-FVC Downstreamers (read: the weaker of the two keys on their page) were capable of withstanding the collapse of an infinite-dimensional reality.

Pre FVC Downstreamers are universal (3-A ~ 1-C).

Good arguments anyway, thanks for the answers.

1. Check the profile. The Pre-FVC Downstreamers have High Hyperversal durability for the reasons I outlined.

2. I don't see how higher-dimensional travel is going to make a difference.

I'm also going to have to go with the Downstreamers (Are we using the Downstreamers or the Old Ones [Post-FVC]?)

^My guess is the Post-FVC ones. The Pre-FVC Downstreamers only have High 1-B durability and can't actually combat whatever extradimensional tech the DT Old Ones have.

The Downstreamers: 3 (MrKingOfNegativity, Aeyu, ZacharyGrossman273)

don't the downstreamers have high-godly regen, because everything the old ones have besides from sealing wouldn't be able to put them down? but looking at the old one's page it seems like many of their powers are very similar to the downstreamers. But that regen definitely wins them the fight here.

So downstreamers win with mid-high difficulty only because a lot of there powers are very similar.
