From what I remembered about the Force Awakens, Han stopped a ship going at light speed after passing through that barrier shield thing and before the ship could be fast enough to explode on contact.
 
I think that he already calculed that. Usually when they travel at SoL if cuz they configured the coordinates due that they can't maneuver in hyperspeed
 
That machine help was there is one option.

There is also the possibility that it has something more to do with timing than with reactions, basically hitting the switch early enough.

In term of reactions I would really think that something like relativistic reactions (which it would probably come down to calculating it) would be an outlier for Han.
 
Yea he has a lot of experience and so he timed it. It was portrayed like that in the movie.
 
I figured as much, but wouldn't it be still a major speed feat, seeing how he's only Peak Human? I mean, while not a SoL feat, or probably not even a Rel+ feat, it would at least be MHS. Though DT brings up a huge point about outlier.
