First up, BoG Batter's speed:
As Saikou pointed out in the OFF upgrade blog, the clouds are already visible from the ground. In the second link you can even see the clouds already as the Batter walks up the chimney, and that the same clouds keep reappearing in the background are simply a looping parallax. I don't see any reason to assume this chimney is any taller than that of an industrial chimney in real life. Even through pixel scaling, I can guarantee that you the chimney is nowhere near that height. Not to mention the timeframe is much less than, "a second or so".
So what do we downgrade it to?
Well, Omega's move, Photographic Blur, seems to imply from its name alone that the attack is light based, so he could scale to opponents who can dodge the attack, and give everyone in the verse similar reaction/combat speed. So we could revise The Batter's speed to "Peak Human, possibly FTL", and list the current reasons for The Batter's SoL reactions/comabat speed under his FTL ranking.
Next up, The Batter's Conceptual Manipulation:
This ability seems rather baseless, as there's no explanation as to why he has it in the profile, nor do I recall any feats displaying this ability either. I suggest removing it unless anybody can give me an explanation.
The Batter's range via Competences:
I don't recall anything implying that The Batter's Competences can reach hundreds of kilometers. Unless there's anything suggesting this, I suggest we downgrade it to several dozen meters at most.
Miscallaneous:
I suggest we take a look at the comments in the OFF upgrade blog:
Saikou also pointed out some stuff in the comments section about the chimney feat, how E=MC^2 seems to go against our rules, the baselessness of the conceptual manipulation and resistance to time based attacks, etc.
These counterarguments seem to hold some weight to them and they were never refuted. If they do have weight to them, it could lead to a complete reversal of OFF's upgrades.

I have problems with the final calc. As you predicted, the abstract nature of this occurence has left me severely doubtful as to the validity of any calcs about it. In fact, the entire sequence in "I have three friends" didn't even feel like it was really happening—It felt like Batter was going through Hugo's memories, which would make everything far too abstract to apply real-world values to them. Little children don't know that the Sun is 149,598,000,000 meters away—they generally do not yet have any real way of actually comprehending a distance of that magnitude. All they know is "the Sun is in the sky." And before you try to use the atmosphere as a value, they don't know how far away "the sky" is, either. So how far away is the sun from a child's perspective? An unquantifiable "far away from here." Look, I just don't think it's possible to make accurate statements about any supposed feats from this particular section of the game. Most everything about it is just far too abstract to have any kind of justifiable certainty concerning the feats. | ||
