Did he really surpass ssj blue Vegito or did he just beat a weakened fused Zamasu because a spirit bomb with half dead Goku and Vegeta + Trunk's super form should not be greater than Vegito. Maybe Fused Zamasu got weaker due to getting hurt by Vegito and Vegito made him greatly decrease in power and speed (he turned into a gaint)

what are your thoughts about this?

well turning into a giant shouldn't affect his strength if anything he would get stronger and it was more of a spirit sword.

First trunks deafeated fusion Zamasu because of all the energy he got from the people if not for that energy a tired fusion Zamasu would beat him. second yeah fusion Zamasu was tired thats what made trunks able to catch Zamasu off guard and stab him it's possible that if trunks failed to stab fusion Zamasu he might've got deafeated also nothing proves fusion Zamasu's speed decreased when he became giant fusion Zamasu got overwhelmed by vegito at the end because vegito started using his absolute full power not because fusion Zamasu's giant form decreased his speed

During the beam struggle Trunks caught Zamasu off-guard. The second time Zamasu was severely weakened. Weakened mentally I suppose, because he was still fine physically. He was however having a mental breakdown which really doesn't help when you're fightning someone.

Super Trunks (another Zenkai)<Gaint unstable Zamasu (Heavily damaged by Vegito/ when fighting Trunks)<supressed ssj Blue Vegito =<Angry Unstable Zamasu (start of Fight)< Spirit bomb sword Super Trunks =< Full power Vegito? I still don't see Trunks even with the spirit bomb sword being near an hypothical ssj blue Gogeta's full power let alone Vegito's.

Spirit bomb trunks is nowhere near vegito's full power giant fusion Zamasu and vegito are very close to each other in power with vegito having a slight advantage while tired fusion Zamasu is weaker than spirit bomb trunks
