Anyway, I'm assuming the guy resists transmutation on a 1-A scale because my damned luck, right?

Then I've gotta give it to my main man, Doom. While the Triforce gives Ganon counters and resistances to many of Doom's attacks, so too does Doom have very powerful resistances to the majority of Ganon's attacks. Doom is also much, much older than Ganon (the guy literally time travelled back to the beginning of the universe and lived through it until the present day), more experienced, and more poignantly, more intelligent, Triforce of Wisdom or not. Add in Doom's numerous ways of durability negation, BFR, and his ability to redirect others' teleportation magic to destinations of Doom's choosing, and I see few win cons for Ganon. That's just my take after a several read-throughs of their power lists.

This was retconned a long time ago. It isn't canon anymore.
