Naruto to Boruto Discussion Thread

Hold on, I'm confused about something. We have Kaguya at 4-B with the Vacuum Fist but Boil Release Naruto isn't? Didn't he overpower that attack and kick her in the mouth or am I misremembering the fight?

That's V1 kaguya. Naruto never tackled IT kaguya (V2) or any of her attacks

So Minato and Kushina as a tag team is definitively superior to Kurama in power?
 
That's a valid interpretation of it, though you can also interpret it as meaning they surpass the power Kurama had released atp
 
All Kushina was able to do with her chains was wrestle control over consciousness away from Kurama while he was he was at Version 1 One-Tails state, and that's after she resolved to protect Minato, iirc.

And Kurama was like: "Yeah, go sit down".
 
I think the idea in this situation is that Kurama would've swatted Minato out of the air before he could clash with his Bijuudama or would fire the Bijuudama at a midair vulnerable Minato if Kushina didn't restrain him and force him to clash

Listen, you already know my view it as we've had this discussion before. All I am saying is, however you want to scale it, Kushina atp is only relative at best to 100% V1 One-Tailed Cloak with her chains as, even when mentally amped, the BEST she could do was wrestle her consciousness from Kurama's Control when the Cloak was at that level. She couldn't even suppress the power, just gain control of the body and Kurama was able to easily overpower her still to regain control and release even more power before Minato applied his seal.

Thus my analogy of Minato being 98% and Kushina being 2% (Exaggerated, yes... Maybe) of the statement.

So wait... Being that 17% of Boruto's data was made into Karma, if Momoshiki is reborn inside of Code, would Boruto lose Karma? Or would it become an empty Karma like Code's? Given, again, it's part of his data and not just Momoshiki's?

Well we literally see Kushina restraining Kurama at the final stages of the battle so your position isn't really tenable

No, you see her put the chains on him in 1 panel. It doesn't change the fact of what was shown. There is not enough of a showing for you to suggest my position isn't tenable, nor is it even a valid counter to my position as it doesn't actually address my position.

What does it being 1 panel mean? She still restrained him in that 1 panel. It does address the position, as it shows that Kushina's not only able to help against V1 level Kurama
