Naruto to Boruto Discussion Thread

You know what really bugs me? If Kawaki is at 80% Extraction, yet has Isshiki's Doujutsu, even in Base, why doesn't Boruto have Momoshiki's Byakugan outside of True Essence? Hell, why doesn't he OR Momoshiki have the Rinnegan despite them being at 82% Extraction of Momoshiki's Data?

Like... It is hard for me to believe Ikemoto and Kishimoto haven't also thought about this, and there is a reason we don't know yet.

By the end of the series I NEED to see Boruto with Rinnegan... 😭
 
Seeing how Boruto not only has Otsutsuki DNA but also has Otsutsuki heritage from both parents, there's likely something unique about him that's currently stopping him from fully utilizing Momoshiki's potential like Kawaki can
 
Yo... I just thought about it, but what if Boruto learned Gentle Fist & Rotation over the Timeskip?

Like Imagine the "pop" (Wrestling Term) the manga would get if Boruto is cornered from almost all directions while using True Essence or whatever and pulls out the Rotation? Hell, imagine how BUSTED Boruto would be with Gentle Fist added to his h2h or swordsmanship?

That along would make him a MASSIVE threat to almost anyone.

Fused Momoshiki’s Golem > SPSM Kyuubi Avatar > Sasuke’s PS (Stats)

Fused Momoshiki > RSM Naruto = Sasuke > Base Momoshiki (AP)

I'll disregard the Final Rasengan Clash as Boruto's fate (There was a factor to Boruto unconsciously channeling Otsutsuki power). Wasn't purely Naruto's AP.

Quite literally with every other character in other series. Thank you for also noticing this. I can’t stand when Person A “makes Person B bleed” that means they gotta be near or on the same lvl when we see Person A getting smoked right and left without Person B trying

Same with durability: “survived hits” like we don’t see this guy with broken bones

So I want to get clarity on this, but when Naruto says this about Kakashi, does that scale Post-Skip Kakashi over VoTE 3TM Sasuke physically?

It's just confusing because he separates Taijutsu & Sharingan usage... But Naruto's only experience against a Sharingan User is VoTE Sasuke. He says he's more adept at using the Sharingan than Sasuke, but his only experience against Sasuke using the Sharingan is how it made his Taijutsu better (Bc by this point, he hadn't really faced any other Sharingan ability aside from the Enhancement/innate Pre-cog).

Also, does that inherenyly imply VoTE Sasuke's Taijutsu isn't better than what he experienced w/ Rock Lee using Gates?

Overall, how do you guys view the statement? Imo, it's Kishimoto telling the reader that Kakashi is > what we saw of the kids in Pt. 1.

An unknown attack in Kakashi's backstory caused this. The attack sent huge rocks flying into the sky, the attack was caused by some unknown Jonin from Iwagakure.

Do you guys think this can be calced?

I still think the result would be pretty high, the attack sent rocks the size of mountain ranges into the sky, which is something nukes can't even do.
