if we're being Fr though, what was the databook even trying to achieve with a statement like that. cause like if they wanted to say like it's as strong as this very strong character... Might Guy is right there, who's obviously way stronger and has mastered all the gates.

Yep and the Databook was not talking about just one 6ix paths punching at fullpower.. It’s talking about the barrage of the clones that he made against Kaguya producing a powerful force on par with rocklee in his full power. The explanation could be better but I get what they are going for because Naruto made like 1000 plus clones and they were not all punching at once, so each combo hitting is on par with full power rocklee..

Main description:
Countless shadow clones each possess their own will and swing their fists—
when they attack together, the assault becomes like a storm that crushes the enemy.
What was once Naruto’s specialty, the “Naruto Combo Barrage,”
has evolved dramatically due to the massive increase in shadow clones.
This is Naruto’s ultimate taijutsu technique.
The barrage rivals even Rock Lee’s use of the Eight Gates in destructive power,
and because attacks come simultaneously from all directions,
it is extremely difficult to block them all.
Additionally, through real combat, Naruto has acquired more advanced movements.
allowing for even more refined and high-speed coordination.
Fighting against overwhelming numbers is nearly impossible,
and the clones’ coordinated attacks make escape virtually unattainable.
Side note (small box):
The shadow clones that surround the enemy will pursue no matter where they try to flee.
With no escape route, the enemy is completely cornered…

Obviously guy is above naruto in tijustu, the dued could harm madara with just his air punches. I can see 7 gates guy being around naruto level in tijustu but 6 gate Lee is pushing it. Tho it's stated Lee would have been useful against momoshiki

That is more skill based taijutsu. Naruto with his "Giant arm punches" matched Kaguya's eighty gods vaccuum fist. Unless you aren't referring to AP

Not just matched, punched right through that shit too. Honestly Sasuke wasn't exactly up to par with both kaguya and naruto's level in that fight, Naruto did better than even Sasuke susanoo and he never once went full kurama mode
