If it is, I think it would be unusable or at the Very Least Momoshiki has access to it upon death.

I think it's probably just a spirit thing, much how Obito was able to return from the dead and give Kakashi his chakra.

But the problem with that is that is Naruto Characters can see spirits and If that was the case, they would have sensed his presence there.

That still doesn't account for the Interraction happening while Time was seemingly stopped.

Also to point out Sasuke was the only one out of Naruto and the others who saw what was happening between Boruto and Momoshiki while time was stopped via his Rinnegan.

So if time stop gets accepted, then this also means Sasuke has resistance to Time Stop as well.

It's a common writing technique used by authors, see here and here .

But the possible difference here is that the characters in verse actually notice it and specifically depict it as a time stop, such as what Boruto said when he saw it as time stopping. While in Bleach that isnt the case as Ichigo and the others don't notice or depict it at all.

Plus if it was just a matter of writing technique then Sasuke wouldnt have noticed Boruto and Momoshiki's conversation. And Naruto and the others wouldnt have been stopped, they would have noticed it as well not just Sasuke.

At least thats what I think it is.

Why would Momoshiki possess such a useful power, and not use it in a fight at all? It does not fit.

Oh I never said it was combat useful.

Tho wasnt Momoshiki basically, well, extremely arogant in the fight? He likely thought he could handle all of them without needing such a high level technique, especially after absorbing Kinshiki. And without Boruto, they pretty much would have lost against him. Not to mention, him having a whole supply of chakra pills.

Also it really doesn't make a difference if the character actually notes time has stopped. I'm sure anyone in a fictional verse could draw the conclusion from the dirt being frozen in the air, or the bird frozen in place would be time stopping

Sasuke observing this makes more sense then if it wasn't timestopping, aswell. Since the convo likely took place in Borutos mind.

@Joseph Our main priority is aggregating stats, powers and abilities. Whether or not it is combat applicable is irrelevant especially since the Vs threads aspect of the site is secondary and mainly for fun.

If your really concerned about it misleading people just give a description of it in the notable attacks and techniques section so it wont be a problem.

If it is Time Stopping then Sasuke observing it doesnt automatically mean it was happening in his Mind. It could easily just mean he has resiatance.

Also if it was happening in Boruto's mind then what would explain that strange mark Momoshiki gave him on his hand? And if was happening in Boruto's mind and Sasuke was observing it, then this would mean Sasuke could directly see into people's minds instead.

And I don't see any point of discussing this right now. Pretty sure sooner or later Sasuke will touch upon this.

I have already stated elsewhere that it only seems to be a mental technique. If Momoshiki could stop time, he would have doen so during the fight.

I will close this thread now, and appreciate if the topic is never brought up again.
