Does Naoto X get prior knowledge on Naoto A or are we SBAing that away?
Also, how do Naoto X's powers work? Can she negate stuff like natural repels?

Detective Naoto can modify the abilities of other personas, so she is super OP against other persona userrs, since she can pretty much reduce them to Zero a ala Gold Experience Requiem and just shoot them dead with the gun.
This wouldnt work on Aigis for example since she is far more physically superior to Naoto without a persona.

Okay. So both would just have to shoot each other to death, but since Naoto X would know to do that before Naoto A would she'd take it more often than not.

Naoto X is literally Canon Naoto, but more experienced and has a motorbike.

In my opinion, Naoto just gets Gold Experience Reqiuem´d and shot to death.

Naoto X's Persona lost all of its combat ability so she shouldn't still be 7-A.
Anyway, Amatsu Mikaboshi doesn't nullify other Personas, it only tunes/modifies their abilities. She can weaken certain aspects of Canon Naoto's Persona, but whatever she doesn't alter can and will still one-shot her.
Canon Naoto either uses Megidolaon, Hama/Mudo, or simply shoots other Naoto and one shots.

Her 7-a is from her guns, since she can indeed damage 7-A stuff with it, it is just weaker.
And yeah, it can, she can modify aspects of other personas. Either to empower them or weaken them.
Hell, the first time she used it, she didnt even need whathisname´s permisson.
She is pretty much the GER of the Persona verse.

"Empower" and "Weaken" being the operative words here, not nullify. And it's only been shown to work on specific abilities.

I'm saying when did Naoto hurt a 7-A character after gaining Amatsu Mikaboshi?
She's never "turned an ability to zero", just increased or decreased the range/scope, and even then, no matter how much you reduce instant death, it's still instant death, and the other Naoto's physical attacks still one-shot.
Neither of them say that, and even if they did it wouldn't mean anything.

In Persona 4 Arena (which came out on arcades BEFORE the novel) where she can hurt enemies that can hurt her persona with her guns, which she scales to.
Turning the effect of insta kill to zero nullifies it. Have you rread the novel? Seriously, at least make some research. Naoto has flat out nullifies attacks from other perrsonas.
