My Hero Academia General Discussion Thread #18

1. Current Shigaraki/Current Deku (No one knows who is stronger yet)

2. Prime AFO/Prime AM (Duh)

3. Full Body Cluster Bakugo (Only cause he can beat Star with a blitz and is physically way stronger for hurting Prime AM level Shiggy)

4. Star and Stripe (No Air = gg rest of list)

5. Shoto (Stronger than Dabi with Phosphor even when he was gonna explode)

6. Dabi (Undisputed best Fire user and then gets Phosphor amp, clapped by Shoto tho, better than Endeavor)

7. Full Dark Tokoyami (Prime AM level in stats but everyone above him has a way to basically Insta gib him)

8. Gigantomachia (Comparable to Tokoyami but Tokoyami bigger so gg)

9. Endeavor (Definitive “above High End” guy, Flashfire Amps let him cook everyone below this level)

10. Mirko (She do be kicking kinda strong tho)
 
Star lowkey loses to Shoto as well if she doesn’t start with something that takes him out or gives her ridiculous cold resistance. Phosphor speed amp -> Great Glacial Aegir = gg.

And I better see no one sleep on Tokoyami, bro is a monster. Only isn’t higher cause everyone after that has either huge amounts of light or huge AoE that negs him.

Adjusting my list. Imo, Star doesn’t end up in the top 10.
This is based on who’s stronger not who would win in a fight.
 
Both a Rising and Origin chapter for All Might.

All Might is able to inject AFO with Acid, of coursed it's called Pinky. The acid constantly damages his body as he rewinds. An even more interesting part comes in the flashbacks, as we see All Might and Nana interacting. We get confirmation that All Might's family was killed long before he ever met Nana.

Nana's family was also killed as well. The shot of him walking as Nana floats is great, as we see a pretty normal looking city in the background. But the next panel moves the shot to the other direction and we can see the city has been completely destroyed with giant spears sticking out of the ground.

A large chunk of a city just wiped out in broad daylight, that's the kind of world Nana and All Might were raised in. Nana didn't even flinch to hear that All Might's family was dead, seems like people being killed at any time was a common occurrence. Really goes to show just how much All Might changed the entire country.

Seeing All Might get smashed through Tatooin Station from Chapter 1 with the giant villain is a great callback. He's taken massive damage, excluding what happened last chapter, he now has broken ribs, damage across his entire body, and he's having difficulty breathing.

AFO gets visibly younger as he approaches All Might, AFO repeatedly used Quirks that destroy his body to rid himself of the acid inside of him. Once again confirming that the more damage he takes the faster he rewinds. All Might gets back up and starts laughing to keep AFO from noticing he got younger.

Making sure to keep to him in his blind rage and prevent him from thinking rationally. All Might's body is wrecked, it looks like he can only move his limbs right now due to his suit. Yet he doesn't react to the pain and keeping on smiling.

All Might activates everything on his suit, I can see a lot of comic book references in that design. We see a brief moment of the All Might's vestige in OFA becoming aware of their battle, as Izuku and Shigaraki continue their own fight.

I saw that Izuku has injuries he didn't have before, Shigaraki hasn't touched him but he's managed to land some kind of hits on him.

Pretty solid chapter overall, we're clearly approaching something very big and I can't wait to see what Horikoshi has in store for us.

given that's the USJ AM Tier, I'd guess we're atleast getting Low 6-B Fa-Jin Deku if that's accepted (Cause of the 5x amp), because as much as I'd love to say we can upscale the Prime AM tier to Baseline, I can't say for certain.
No what we should do is say that because A leg of fully charged Fa-jin + Blackwhip + 45% is Faux 100%, we give USJ to Prime a 2.5x multiplier and then fa-jin's 5x multiplier gives us 6-B Overdrive Deku

Though there're quite a bit of upscaling going on, the gap is too big for baseline. Baseline High 6-C+ 45% and Ryukyu is pretty pog tho

Toshinori being informed of his suit's respiratory system failing during his fight with All For One on the rooftop where he revealed to Izuku that his respiratory system was damaged beyond repair by All For One years prior is mwah phenomenal.
 
I rewrote MHA's discussion rule to polish it up.
  • Do not make revisions regarding Aoyama's Navel Laser Quirk being lightspeed. It has been frequently depicted to be far slower than that with Anti-Feats such as being on par with Class 1-A's other ranged attacks, and being dodged by beginning of series Mina Ashido. Aoyama has also shown that the beam can display properties a laser does not, such as keeping it stationary and using it as a sword.

While I think the rule is fine in general, should "Mina Ashido dodging it" even be kept? It's not really a great "argument" since if it was light speed she would simply scale anyway. of course I don't mind keeping it, just wondering ig
