If a person can stop time and move during that time stop. Does that automatically prove they can move when someone else stops time as well?

No. That's like the point of their own ability, without extra context you kind of just assume that's built into it.If a person can stop time and move during that time stop. Does that automatically prove they can move when someone else stops time as well?![]()
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Wanted to see what others thought about it. Since I’m essence time is still being stopped.No. That's like the point of their own ability, without extra context you kind of just assume that's built into it.
Just having a power doesn't mean you resist it. You need extra evidence for it, for any ability really.
Like just because they stop time and their ability let's them move, that wouldn't help if a different ability stops time without the "and you can move too" caveat.
Being able to move in your own time stop only proves one thing:If a person can stop time and move during that time stop. Does that automatically prove they can move when someone else stops time as well?![]()
to be honest thoBeing able to move in your own time stop only proves one thing:
your ability excludes you from the freeze effect you create.
It does not automatically tell us whether you’re excluded from someone else’s effect.
Being able to move in your own time stop is proof that you can move in any time stop.
“To move in one’s own time-stop is simply part of the ability, and gives no evidence about movement in another’s.”No. That's like the point of their own ability, without extra context you kind of just assume that's built into it.

That or you can move because your ability allows you too? It's really not that complex.“To move in one’s own time-stop is simply part of the ability, and gives no evidence about movement in another’s.”
But what does it mean to move when time is stopped?
I really don't have the time to argue what is essentially conjecture.to be honest tho
To move while the world is frozen, your body must not depend on the ordinary progression of time.
You must generate motion, thought, and action without t-flow.
This means your physical processes operate on a personal temporal axis distinct from the world’s.
Call this private time.
Once you have a temporal subsystem in which you continue to function, an external shutdown of global time cannot fully override your internal process.
Your “clock” is not powered by the world’s clock.
You are a system with its own time base.
If your personal temporal axis is already decoupled from the universe’s, then:
- Freezing the universe’s timeline affects everything dependent on that timeline.
- But you, being independent of it, are not dependent on that freeze.
Thus, any external time-stop is irrelevant to your internal temporal functioning.
Therefore, the ability to move in your own time stop is logically equivalent to immunity from all time stops.
Because:
- If you move in your own time stop, you have an internal time system.
- If you have an internal time system, global time freezes do not apply to you.
- Therefore, no time-freezing act, regardless of its origin, can halt you.
- If a person can move while time is stopped, it is because they possess a temporal independence that cannot be selectively overridden.
Thus:
As much as i love this complex explanation. But no, fiction is very simple, just your ability exclude you from it, simple at that. Unless you have more evidence to suggest otherwiseto be honest tho
