Most well written characters for every tier: List Edition

Emotionally, I hate Attack on Titan's ending.
I like the ending a bit tbh. Like it's weird and not everything works, but there's a lot of really good stuff there. Like Eren's acceptance of his actions and the whole "I don't know why" scene are both so peak and there's other stuff like that throughout

Even the infamous Mikasa scene there isn't really the worst thing ever. People just don't like the contrast there

"Thanks for becoming a genocidal crazy ass MF for our sake"
Peak. (But seriously, the way the author worded it was bad. Basically, Eren and Paradis Island had two options: 1. Get massacred by the world or 2. Kill everyone who wanted to massacre them, which happened to be most of the world)

The "I don't know why" scene prefers to Ymir choosing Mikasa or something? I hate how Eren had to die. They couldn't have made a body double or something? (Joking.)

Nah it's the whole thing of why Eren did the rumbling. First saying that he actually wanted to see the world trampled down, not for everyone else, but for some reason he can't even remember any more

It's legitimately one of his best moments if you look deeper into it imo, but most AoT fans just looked at it on the most surface-level interpretation and said he got ruined

How are we defining well written characters characters that are complex and human like or characters that are entertainingly written either way I guess Hamlet is probably up there.

Homelander for the win!

Basically he is one of the best "evil supermans" in media right now, the idea of "what if Superman was not raised with love and care" is extremely cool. Fact that you understand why he is the way he is, and know that if we went through his childhood we probably would end up similar to him is deeply depressing.

Vought literally using his mentality on wanting love and approval from others as a way to control him is genuinly sick, it really shows that Vought is the real villian.

I swear everytime this guy is on screen I dont ******* know what he'll do, thats exactly how the other characters feel. He is a crazy sadistic man child with unimaginable powers, yet you cannot stop feeling bad for him because you know why he is like this. Antony Starr is also very good as an actor I think everyone who watched the show would agree with me on that one

Agreed with Homelander. Has probably the most villainous aura of any villain in all of media, and world-class acting from Anthony Star to go with it.

Or at least in television. If we were to bring up all of media I might bring up a few others
