Most tragic character for every tier

Guys, the last episode to Adventure Time just ended.

No spoilers, but I think we can safely say, Ice King is the most tragic of his tiers.

5-A is crowded as hell. I don't really know the characters, bit from the looks of it we should cut chronic trigger dudes.

Ok, spoiler rundown for Ice King.

He was a happy man named Simon who was turned insane by a crown that he picked up on an expedition.

He left his girlfriend Betty to save her from himself and then world war 3 happened.

He found a girl named Marceline and cared for her through the apocalypse.

However, being forced to use the ice crown to save her one too many times caused his mental stability to deteriorate. Not long after he left Marcy for fear of hurting her as the crown continued to make him go insane.

After years of being ice king, and forgetting who he was, he was finally able to return as Simon as all the magic was sucked from his crown in an accident. He used magic to bring Betty to the future, but without the magic in the crown, Simon lost jis immortality and his years were catching up to him.

So, Betty reverted the accident, forcing Simon to become ice king once more, and now she was trapped in the future. Betty struggled to find a way to revert Ice King to Simon, even putting on Magic Man's hat and becoming insane herself, but it was no use.

SPOILERS FOR SERIES FINALE

Betty channeled the power of GOLB, a space God of chaos, to try to bring back Simon, but was swallowed by the creature along with Ice King. Inside it's gut, they reverted back to their states before world war 3, and made up for lost time. However, they were being digested and since GOLB's gut reverts things back to their first state, the ice crown became the wishing crown it was originally made for. Simon escapes, but Betty stays behind to use the crown to banish GOLB from Ooo. The beast is to powerful to be banished however, and she instead wishes for the power to protect Simon, merging her with GOLB. Simon sees this happen and is powerless to stop it as she goes back into the void GOLB came from.

The ending of the episode shows Simon travelling to Prismo to find a way to bring Betty back.

Magus is pretty tragic. Frog not so much

Nominating Zero (Mega Man) for 4-B.

-He tries his best to do good (even though he doesn't think of himself as a hero), but his creator constantly jabs at him to make him turn evil, even sometimes succeeding.

-The dude doesn't know why he fights other than for survival a few years in (when he continues to do so for 200 years), and while he's a firm good guy, he becomes increasingly pessimistic as time goes on, even if he does mean well

-He loses almost everyone important to him, some by his own hand, loses his memory, then loses the last thing he has left of his past (Mega Man X). The games even imply at times that he does regain at least some of his memories based on music (MMZ4 plays a suspisciously similar track to Iris' battle theme, perhaps implying he is thinking of her during that point in the game (no less doing so where he almost died while asking her to forgive him)), his actions (not killing the guardians), and some of his dialogue. He just has to move on from it because all he has in the Zero series is Ciel.

-Although he finds his motivation near the end of both eras of his life, in both cases he never gets to see what comes of it after the battles where he tells said motivation (After beating Omega, he goes to sleep, seeing himself as a bringer of mavericks. After beating Weil, he may or may not be dead)

-Even after his sacrifice to keep the people he believes in safe, it ultimately just bought them time, the people who killed them ultimately resembling something connected to Zero. Mega Man X was killed by Elpizo, a very similar figure to Sigma, who was ultimately twisted by a virus in Zero's capsule.. Master Albert in ZX resembles Wily in some ways and is heavily implied to have murdered Ciel.

TBH, in some ways he's also a reverse Darth Vader.

I wonder if Capcom will ever make a continuation of ZX2, or just create a whole new thing. Zero added.

Lucy probably deserves a spot for one of her tiers.

I think you mean

9-A, higher when enraged | At least 9-A, likely higher, higher when enraged | At least 7-C to at least 6-C, possibly higher

In this case, Chise gets a tough fight for 7-B against Homura Akemi/Sigurd and 6-C against Trafalgar Law.
