There are over one quadrillion possible dog races in Majora's Mask.
The Blue Dog gets last place in the vast majority of those. (Largely due to its speed tanking after the first quarter.)
Thus, it's been ridiculed in the Majora's Mask community.

Earlier this year, via resetting for the dogs to have ideal conditions & then save-stating before starting the race & advancing 1 frame between each, after thousands of attempts, taking multiple days, The Blue Dog finally got its first ever known first place.
