Well Batman usually blocks with his arm armor and counters. In this case his arm would just come off. Also Six-Fold Slash of Light would be hard to dodge.

What Batman starts with is actually kind of random. His precognition and instinctive reaction, as well as info analysis should be enough to let him realize Razor's Edge is a threat.

And Batman is really good at dodging ovo
