Nergigante FRA. Also realistically I imagine that it might be hard for a larger creature like Godzilla to precisely hit a smaller creature like Nergigante anyway.

Godzilla has many ways to hit him if they are in equalized speed,Radiation Stream and Atomic Breath would probably damage Nergigante or distract him enough to Godzilla catch him and i don't know...Smash him with his MUCH superior mass?

Plus Godzilla can react to many things of different sizes so it would not be that hard to catch him,If he even think of hides in Godzilla Dorsal Plates and attack him from behind Godzilla could just use Radiation Stream or the tail whip.

Nergigante still has superior AP and Durability, along with statistics amplification (Where its spikes grow and harden to improve attack power and durability beyond what it has at the start of a fight). Godzilla using its superior mass to crush Nergigante won't work when its AP is still less than Nergigante's durability. Plus Nergigante is, at the moment, considered smarter than Godzilla according to their profiles.

On top of that, Godzilla has a physical weak point on its body (the gills), which could technically be exploited by Nergigante. It should be noted that Nergigante lacks any physical weak points, and any weaknesses that it does have can't be exploited by Godzilla as Godzilla lacks the Dragon Element and electricity.

And one final thing is that Nergigante has better regen than Godzilla anyway. Nergigante has Low-Mid and Godzilla has, at best, Mid-Low. Meaning that the damage Nergigante takes matters less in the long run as it can likely just heal from it on top of already having the durability advantage.

So my vote still stays with Nergigante for these reasons.

How can he use the Spikes grow thing? He can use it anytime he wants to? Pretty sure Nergigante would not be able to escape from Godzilla mass considering he has not enough llift strength to the feat,Plus it is not a giant AP difference,Almost 2 teratons is not a stomp or one hit ko.

Actually the Gills thing is REALLY contraditory,First Godzilla has never showed to have his gills as a weak point,He was not really hurted by the tanks,Only annoyed because he was obviously trying to find a way to get through the bridge and was not expecting to be attacked,So it is like if a kid stay hitting you with a stick,It will not hurt,But is really annoying.

Nergigante has so far only regenerated his tail as showed PLUS Godzilla should have Mid-Low Regenerationn as well,As in Godzilla:AfterShock SPOILERS!!

end Muto Prime shatters his dorsal plates,Then in KOTM his dorsal plates are completely regrowed,Basically the same thing Nergigante did,Though the time for this is unknown.

Mutos were just hitting his neck in the movie because it is something most animals do in order to kill their opponent faster,If we go by that so most kaijus should have a weakness in their necks.

Godzilla would have to repeatedly smash and blast Nergigante, which just wouldn't happen. Even with speed equalized, Godzilla's size will still hinder his mobility in this fight, giving Nergigante more than enough time to demolish him with his superior AP.

The + in his durability is what allows him to survive multiple attacks from Godzilla, then the damage caused becomes meaningless unless the damage surpassed his regen, which it wouldn't due to the AP and durability gap. Then he would get stronger due to his spikes and spines growing back from what little damage he did recieve.

It's not really "damaging" itself, but what it does is that it's attacks are so powerful that it can break off the spikes that it grows even when they are hardened/black.

[[1]] You can see how fast Nergigante grew back its spikes in this cutscene here after they got broken by The Huntsman.

Also in the Bridge scene in Godzilla 2014, we clearly see Godzilla shrug off the explosives and military weapons striking its back. But as soon as the military starts attacking Godzilla's neck/gills in that scene, Godzilla starts roaring and tries to get away from the source of the attacks. It's pretty clear that the military weapons were not being a minor annoyance given the two reactions Godzilla gave to being bombarded with explosives on different parts of the body.

[[2]] You can see Godzilla shrug off these blasts that strike its back, and then skip to 3:11 to see it roaring and reacting to the blasts hitting its neck.

It does not seems like he is being hurted,More like he is annoyed of being bombarded by these tanks and thought it would be better to ignore them,His gills withstand things MUCH worse like a meteor and nukes.

I vote for Nergigante

Smaller body and greater intelligence allows him to easily out maneuver Godzilla while his spikes can harden to resist Godzilla's attacks.

Nergi FRA, I agree smaller size, despite being mitigated, is an advantage.
