I assume we are using her town level durability? Because her durability can go as high as City level.

If its just town level, then I'm voting Luffy FRA.
 
Voting Luffy for:
-AP (>> to 35KT), and Rage Power.
-Luffy's martial arts tie with Zoro's Santoryu style, which clearly makes him more skillful here.
-Luffy has experience with opponents who use sharp weapons, while Ruby doesn't have much experience with a martial artist who can stretch every limb of his body up to tens of kilometers.
-Resistance to heat, electricity, and low temperatures which limit Ruby's versatility using Dust.
-Greater stamina, which would make him fight longer and understand Ruby's fighting style over time, which could lead to big problems for her.
 
The "up to large town to city level with aura" durability will be removed and it will be just "higher with aura"

Ruby at this point in the series scales to Valvet scarlatina who is able to copy others fighting styls at a glance and utilize them at will along with copies of their wapons though her own weapon. She is just as skilled as her teammates who fought vine who can stretch his arms and fought the nuck that can also extend it's arms like Luffy
 
Resisting cold temperatures doesn't mean you resist being incased in a block of ice

For the strength difference, fair enough but Ruby has ap amps as well and Ruby also has a massive speed advantage via her semblance and a willingnss to spam it in combat

Luffy dodges easily... Enhanced Senses (Smell and Instincts), Acrobatics, Elasticity and Body Control and Instinctive Reaction

Speed ain't a problem for luffy... That's also a much weaker, slower and inexperienced luffy.
 
1. Speed is equalizd so dodging her bullts at point blank range isnt an argument, not to mention her semblance amping her to the point of speedblitzing him
2. Ruby scales to people who can match people with instinctive ractions
3. everybody and their mother in RWBY has acrobatics and ruby can tag them just fine

I mean it was no supporters for ruby for why this wasn't just a stomp. It was just a FRA chain after one person said few points also Weiss vs Polnarff says othrwise lol also you can 100% change your vote, thats what the grace period is for

.... That's not shooting it close range... That was just finishing the target that was literally stabed and shooting it while the weapon is stable...
 
Also I'm pretty sure Luffy can get cut here via slicing damage as this is before his armament haki

Ruby's semblance amplifies her speed to the point of being able to speedblitz people as fast as and faster than herself normally. Basically think of it like gear second except it also turns her intangible and grants her flight.

also luffy's instinctive reactions costs him his ability to attack, and even then it leaves him vulnerable to Ruby's AoE

Luffy would wait for her to attack... Tho if she blitzes to the point of luffy being literally unable to move then it would probably be a stomp...
