I don't know if Luffy can get past Gaara's sand defense. He's scaling above 160 something tons, while Gaara is >>> 500 tons, I think.

In that case, Gaara would be 135 kilotons, while Luffy's 607 kilotons in base. On top of that, he still has stuff like Busoshoku Haki + Gear 2nd and 3rd.

nah Naruto vs Op will always be rivals thanks to the creators IMO, I mean besides Dragonball Naruto is the closest to One Piece in manga sales, and will likely surpass Dragonball in the next decade. so those two are linked, also it's fun because it's a play on the whole Ninja's vs Pirate thing
