There is nothing wrong with the scans used. They are just mixed around due to the person who helped me rewording and linking them.only one mod is needed for Nep 2 and the thread is done.so i wasn’t thinking of closing it. But if no one comes in a week then i will close it and only use the accepted things.

Dont worry. Its better than letting this thread go to limbo. You said it yourself your partner kind of reworded and messed some stuff up. Just fix it and re-launch another thread when you think its adequate enough to launch again.
 
The part about sleeping to death might not be death manipulation so much as a sleep manipulation that goes too far. The next death manipulation seems reasonable though. The non-existent physiology does sound more like erasure than non-existent physiology. And the described madness manipulation sounds more like corruption.

I was pointing out the erasure parts because at the end there is absolute nothingness which the person in question embodies.

I need to reword it to make it more clear that jinwoo is the void itself and that’s why it would be Nep instead of just void manip

Also the madness manipulation was based on the fact that the character embodies the void/abyss,death,and terror itself. Meaning that the effects of sensing terror itself causes people to go insane/mad get corrupted,or die. Which as far as I am aware should be madness manipulation as well as corruption .

Basically Nep comes from the Fact that the abyss (which is a living void) and jinwoo became one. Which means Jinwoo embodies void (nonexistence) and his Nep should scale to that void.
 
i dont think SL:Arise should be used to scale the main verse. while the side stories were apparently written by the author. the game itself is unclear. its canonicity isnt proven.

Only scans that I used from solo leveling arise are things already shown in the story and from the story mode that adapts the main story

Eternal rest is death. The only reason they sleep instead of dying is because life machine keep them alive for a bit. It works EXACTLY the same way the second death manipulation works.

Overwhelming magical power causes death. Just that the weaker magic it is, the longer it takes for someone to die. They WILL undoubtedly die over time though. They also literally reach the concept of death itself when this happens. (Sea of afterlife is death itself)
 
Eternal slumber is just people getting their soul yanked out of them and dying because they can't live without a soul for obvious reasons. That's not death hax.

That isn’t how eternal slumber works.
Exposed to mana->death of the soul->dead soul dissolves into nothingness->reach the sea of afterlife/true soul. The soul doesn’t go to the afterlife until it already dies. the afterlife isn’t something reached until after death. The soul leaving the body only happens AFTER it dies

So it isn’t that they die because they have their soul yanked out, their soul dies and then it is pull towards the sea of afterlife and dissolves on the way there. Like what happened to jinwoos dad and even cha

If you’re going to claim something then literally at least have knowledge on the series instead of accusing me of lying 😭. Eternal slumber is literally death. Anything that inflicts death is known as eternal slumber/rest. Even the world of death itself is known as eternal slumber.
And guess what it is known as when people get affected by magical abilities? Eternal slumber.

The stuff about cha and jinwoos dad were in reference to how souls act. They die before going to the sea. Which proves that it isn’t death because souls are ripped out. One of the examples of eternal slumber is literally overwhelming magical power (which is what monarchs and rulers do to vessels and why vessels die if they use too much power)

Magic is the reason for eternal slumber in the first place, when exposed to magic power over the limit of what a person can withstand,magic becomes toxic, and they can get eternal sleep disease. (In which it either sucks all their lifeforce up or fills their vessel more than what they can handle causing it to get corrupted and die) basically the soul dies because of eternal slumber and the body follows.

another example of something similar to eternal sleep disease are mistburn (the only difference is that when exposed to mana of the Outergods,both the body and soul die unlike eternal slumber where only the soul dies)

Also the fact Suho can arise them means they had to have been dead.

I don’t understand what you are trying to say tbh.Thats kinda the whole point.overwhelming magic power is what affects people in the first place. Monarchs and rulers affect people the most because they have the most mana. In fact jinwoo affects the whole world with his presence. Accidentally giving and taking away peoples powers,as well as affecting their soul and unlocking their memories that are sealed in their spiritual worlds simply by existing.monarchs/rulers cause people’s souls to instantly die,while eternal sleep takes a bit depending on the amount of magic.

I was showing the scan about cha to show you that she only would have reached the sea after having already died unlike what you were claiming
 
Yea I think it's better to implement what is accepted and just make a new thread for the other things since no one is looking at it right now, or just make a summary
