Well, our most knowledgeable member about this series does not have the energy to help out here, and it seems very unlikely that this revision will get sufficient staff support to pass.???? But there are disagreements, even a staff member disagrees now. Closing the thread even tho there’s arguements and counters the people who do agree with keeping the ratings don’t agree with is literally stonewalling.

This is also a massive reason why I don't like arguing for the verse anymore. Not to say no one makes arguments. Just I feel like I do most of the grunt work these days, with not a lot of support. Refer to what I said about everyone getting on this thread a few years back.
This is the harsh truth. Even if the thread had some merit, would there even be enough staff to pass the downgrade? Doubtful. It seems as if thread would be best closed for now.
For what it's worth, I could try to help in the future, if you send some info my way to look through or help with. I was invested in the series a long time ago and don't mind looking through it

Shouldn't those staff be pinged once more? The original arguments that they agreed with were already countered before this, so it makes no sense to keep the disagreements based upon arguments that were already argued against and haven't been replied to, imo.

Since Ant wants to close the thread due to my unwillingness to continue, it feels indirectly aimed at me. He wouldn't be suggesting it otherwise, so I feel like there's a bit of guilt on my end. I know he's also referring to other people, but I've been vocal enough with my walls of text, not to mention me directly voicing not wanting to continue. Heck, people earlier were wondering how to continue the thread since I wouldn't make counterarguments.
Phoenks agreed early on, and hasn’t appeared since, and iirc their original reason was due to your lack of a response. So there’s presedence in repinging them. DDM asserted their stance, but on a more shaky principle, and as for Maverick, eh i have 0 clue.

Even if I disagree with your points (and the way you went about saying this stuff), I agree with you that staff should make at least one last say on whether they still agree or now disagree.

Get staff to reaffirm, or get more staff involved. Not exactly impossible, and hey you went out to do it already, so it looks like the issue here can probably be solved.
