Minor Ness Revision

This is extremely minor, but the description for Ness' Hypnosis says that the target will fall asleep unless they're "highly intelligent". This is incorrect. EarthBound's status formulas use Luck, not IQ. Just so that there's no confusion in the future, let me detail what the following stats do.

Speed: Determines turn order, accuracy, and evasion. At the beginning of each turn, every participant in the battle has their speed adjusted by +/-50% based on RNG. Of course, speed can also just remain the same as well.

Guts: Determines the rate of critical hits, as well as the chance of surviving mortal damage with 1 Hp (your Hp has to be at least 2 or above for this to occur)

Vitality: Determines Hp. The game tries to make your Hp equal to 15 times your vitality, though there can be room for slight error.

IQ: Determines Pp. The game tries to make your Pp equal to 5 times your IQ, though like vitality, there can be room for slight error. The exception to this is Ness after Magicant, whose IQ formula is changed so that 10 x IQ is his Pp. For Jeff, IQ is used to determine if he is able to fix broken gadgets while staying at a rest spot.

Luck: This is probably the stat that most people get confused by. It is mainly used for determining the success rate of your status moves, as well as how likely you are to avoid enemy status.
