I thought making a profile for the Baldimore comics version of him would be good, since it's still semi-canon

"Some people say my sense of humour is insensitive!"

SUMMARY

A comic-ized version of Baldi, living in a fictionalised version of the real life American town, "Baltimore", often getting into goofy mishaps, likely seperate from his game counterpart.

POWERS AND STATS

Tier
: High 9-B, Potentially 5-B

Key: Base

Powers and Abilities: Consumption (Accidentally eats a hairbrush), Bodily weaponry (His teeth are capable of biting through metal), Text manipulation (Grabs an eats text), Fourth Wall Awareness (Talks to the Reader), Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Toon Force (Can survive being frozen), Likely Genius intelligence (Created a Realistic face machine, and an Ice machine, confirmed by the description of the actual comics, written by Mystman himself), Size Manipulation (Grows his head to the size of earth), Resistance to cold temperature (After growing big, could survive in space), Limited Fire manipulation (Via Torch)

Gender: Male

Origin: Baldi's Basics

Attack Potency: Likely high 9-B (Scales to his durability) 9-C, (Can bite through Metal, has a Torch and a Jackhammer), 9-B with Ice Machine (The Ice Machine can freeze people solid), Likely Planet level (Grows to a massive size, and eats the earth)

Striking Strength: Athletic Human (Kicks Dr. Reflex, visibly harming him)

Durability: Wall level+ (Survives being frozen into a block of ice, the ice being shattered by a baseball, and getting hit with another baseball)

Speed: Average Human

Stamina: Superhuman (Unharmed after being frozen, and violently thawed out)
Equipment: Torch, Jackhammer with a rusty knife glued onto it

Optional Equipment: Ice machine, Realistic face machine

Intelligence: Below Average (Doesn't even notice that he's eating his wife's hairbrush), Genius (Built an Ice Machine and a Realistic Face machine)

  • Weren't you going to make a canon revision first? It was discussed in the second page of my "Baldi's Basics Re-Evaluations" thread that the Baldimore comics might count as supporting evidence for the video game continuity of the Baldi's Basics series. Maybe you went back on this seeing as how these comics can be seen on the walls of Baldi's school, so perhaps they are fictional within the Baldi's Basics series but partially based on contexts that are real in that setting, such as how Baldi and Dr. Reflex exist as characters in both the comics and the video games. I would like to know your current stance on the matter.
  • The Powers and Abilities section is in the wrong spot. The format of the profile needs to be spiffied more overall, most notably how the Standard Equipment section looks like it's part of the Stamina section. Before you upload the profile, make sure the rankings are properly bolded and there are links to ability pages in the Powers and Abilities section.
  • "Resistance to cold temperature" should be replaced with Space Survival.
  • "High 9-B" currently isn't an official tier. It's just "9-B".
  • The Tier section doesn't list all the tiers that are in the Attack Potency section. Baldi's 9-C tiering is missing and the Ice Machine's 9-B tiering is missing.
  • The Tier section states that Baldi can potentially achieve Planet level power, but the Attack Potency section states that it's just likely that he outright has Planet level power in general. This is contradictory. It would be far more accurate to write "5-B via Size Manipulation" in the Tier section and "Planet level via Size Manipulation" in the Attack Potency section instead.
  • Is there any further context regarding Baldi putting the Earth in his mouth? Even though it would be fitting for a goofy gag comic series like this one, it was only in the cover of a comic, which possibly means it's non-canon. I didn't read all these comics, so does this feat have more of a basis within the actual comic series?
  • What's the point in Baldi having both tier 9-B and tier 9-C in the Attack Potency section? If his power scales to his durability, then his power is straight-up tier 9-B. The tier 9-C occurrences can be supporting evidence of that, unless they imply his strength can't be higher than 9-C, which they don't.
  • The tiering in the Attack Potency section is supposed to be expressed in words rather than the tier numbers.
  • If Dr. Reflex can survive a kick from Baldi, Dr. Reflex is probably also super durable, so Baldi's striking strength would be the same as his attack potency.
  • The Intelligence section should specify what types of intelligence the two ranks are for. Excluding the parentheses, it should be something like: "Below Average socially, Genius mechanically"

Otherwise, I approve of the profile. Thanks for going ahead with this plan.

  • I think it should be canon, but just in case Tier 9-A Baldi is too much for the mods (I re-read the ice comic and now have come to the conclusion that it's definitely 9-A) I've made a seperate profile juuuusst in case.
  • Yeah I made a bunch of goofs, it was kinda me just rushing it a little. I'll fix it after I'm done overhauling Robot Chicken

Thanks for clarifying. 👍

And I feel like I should make a CRT about it but first I gotta ask you @James_Plays_4_Games if its fine anyway (Since your known to be one of the baldi powerscaler's in revisions)

Mystman confirmed baldimore/baldiman being the same person as baldi from the games, However I think baldiman/baldimore should be like a form for baldi to get the "planet eating" feat? (Because consistency)
The feat is even supported.
  • I'm not sure what part confirms the comic appearances and the video game appearances of Baldi to be the same. Is it because mystman12 calls Baldi's non-superhero self "Baecause the Baldi microgame is a video game and it's stated to be tied to the Baldimore comic continuity? That microgame is a WarioWare mod, so its canonicity is even more questionable than the Baldimore comics themselves.
  • In the "Baldi's Basics Re-Evaluations" thread, it was discussed that the Baldimore comics are treated as secondary material by mystman12, which is material that can be accepted as supporting evidence for primary canon as long as it doesn't bring contradictions. The thread wasn't mainly about that though, so supporting evidence from the Baldimore comics has yet to become accepted. I had planned on making a thread about establishing that the Baldimore comics are canonically accurate material, but I unfortunately didn't get around to making it.
  • Baldi's planet eating feat was performed using size manipulation, so it's consistent with itself. If it's canon, then Baldi would get something like "Planet level via Size Manipulation (He was capable of making his head big enough to bite over much of Earth)" added to his profile (and not replacing any stats that are currently present).
