Metal Sonic (Adventure) vs Perfect Cell (Dragon Ball)

Is Metal still allowed to go Neo? If so, I vote Metal. If not, it depends on if Metal has a way to circumvent Cell's regeneration. If not, Cell eventually wins via attrition with Metal being unable to do anything, or Metal eventually wins via infinite stamina, speed amps, and overall mobility.
So Neo Metal stomps while base Metal makes it incon?

I don't think he can. I think it's very unreasonable to assume base Metal would have Sonic's AD.
I wasn't saying anything about AD in that comment. I just think Metal wins if he can say; exhaust Cell's stamina to negate his regenerative factor. If he can't, Cell wins as Metal has no way at all to even win. If he can become Neo he low-diffs.

Metal is virtually guaranteed to win then, Cell will hold back against Metal like he did against Goku, and even if he didn't, Metal is too fast for Cell to land a killing blow on, so he 100% just goes Neo and ends up becoming a better version of Cell, basically.
Ig it wouldn't count as a stomp now that Kamehameha can go up to x10 Cell's own AP, so it's still theoretically possible for him to take Metal out, even if it's highly unlikely.

Yeah, Metal def wins then. AD's to Cell's level, slaps away his Kamehameha, then gives him a beating before finishing him off with his own Kamehameha.

Wasn't 10x kamehameha rejected? Anyway, base Adventure Metal Sonic would probably fare better if he wasn't totally outdated (update is in the plans, i heard)

that multiplier didn't pass, but still, it is a "i can completely annihilate the body of those enormously superior to me" amp, so it doesn't really matter in the end lol

so how does Metal transform into Neo Metal here? we literally don't know how it works, first time he did it was off screen over an unknown period of time; second time it took an entire war to be upgraded into Neo Metal. It's possible Metal is incapable of transforming into Neo in a combat setting

He doesn't (i think), it depends on the OP's choice wether he's base or as neo metal.

He's starting in base and OP and a few voters are treating Neo as a transformation of some kind, but Neo isn't really on screen shown as something Metal can just tap into

considering how in Heroes the Neo form detransformed with a morphing effect + nothing saying it needs much of anything much special for him to go that state, i wouldn't say affirming he needs a special effort to go Neo has much weight, specially in Speed Simulator where he just.......is available at all times, no fancy method needed for Neo to come out

Well IDW kind of implies that there is something special to turning into Neo since it took a whole war to transform him, Speed Simulator having him available as a playable character should just be treated as game mechanics since there isn't even a lore reason for him being on your team like with other Metal Sonic skins

The one in IDW is a significantly upgraded version of Neo. Eggman had to strip it of the same weaknesses, implement contingencies to prevent rebelliousness, and integrate his intelligence into it (As well as improve his Bio-Data copying ability to work better). I don't think it's exactly fair to compare the two when one is an improved version. Especially since it's never stated when Eggman started working on Neo. It's only stated by Neo that he was to be Eggman's weapon for the final battle, implying he was created sometime before the end of Forces. Which would have only be within like a single day.

Only wanted to comment on that IDW Neo bit. Twas all.
