Mega Man Discussion Thread

Discussion Threads have become a thing recently.

I love this series and there's a reboot coming in 2017 (Please do not be the next Sonic Boom), so I decided to make this. Have fun.

to kick this off, I'm just gonna name my personal Top 5 Mega Man games. My opinion given how many there are, but meh.

1) Mega Man Zero 3 (This game is perfection aside from the difficulty. Play it. Plus I love the designs.)

2) Mega Man X 4 (Zero being fully playable, plus I always laugh at the horrendous dub, as if it's so bad it's good lel)

3) Mega Man Starforce 3 (SF1 was fine, SF2 was playable but had a dreadfully high encounter rate. But this game is excellent and easily made up for it. The story is pretty Dark despite being a kids game, and I always like moderately dark stories)

4) Mega Man X5 (Just pretty good overall. One should play it)

5) Mega Man Zero 4 (Falling Down, ******* badass song. Plus the difficulty isn't as high thanks to the weather system)


No, I'm not adding Mega Man 2, that game IMO is great but overrated. The story isn't as good as I find many games in the series to be, the power ups aren't as good aside from metal blade, and I find that the Zero series has the best designs by far.
