Looking more into it, and I can't find anything that contradicts UFO Robo Grendizer vs Great Mazinger being canon to the Toei shows. The Infinity movie supports it and there's a manga chapter that tells the same story again. Post original anime Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger and Grendizer should all scale to each other just fine. This means their strongest keys will fall on Tier 6 most likely because of a very impressive Grendizer durability feat. Manga versions should follow the same logic, but with all of them upscaling Mazinger Z's hydrogen bomb statement.

Bumping out with a Twitter art for the late 50th anniversary and Ken Ishikawa's birth month. (same artist already did him too).

UPDATE: Anyway, with Ideon's mention last page and how others truly are worth their title, I expanded the thread topic for other ol' day robots. (even though those two are still high priorities)

Anyone find it weird as **** when a robot has a human face on it? I just can't vibe with it, even if it's from a series I really like, such as Gurren Lagann.

I much prefer the mouth plate/mouth grille look.

Completely true, remember watching transformer prime and watching their mouths move like that was just strange

I like robots with human faces
Echoes back to the fact they are made in our image after all, as the idea of giant robots embodies both humanity's relationship with technology and representing powers beyond our control as humanoid figures (gods, giants)

Today's the day (or tomorrow for some of us), folks. A prequel manga (The Inception) has also been released on Comiplex a week ago.

Once it becomes publicly available in video form, remember to mark any notable information found in the episode under spoiler tabs, as it may not be available for everybody yet (considering country timezones) after a premiere in few hours.

I think the scrander had a decent feat, it flew from a city to mazinger in what seems like seconds

Didn't expect this to happen early on, but it was revealed that Grendizer went berserk and destroyed Planet Fleed before Duke ended to Earth.

The planetary power level for Grendizer seems to get even more consistent. The previous episode (which has a similarly powerful weapon and HHS+ attack speed located in lunar orbit) reveals that it is a weapon created by God beyond Fleed's technological capacity, which may make it superior to Naida's proton bomb that destroyed Daridari, which was stated to blow up the entire Earth.

Also on a related topic, I've bought Feast of the Wolves for my PlayStation 5 a few days ago.

And Maria made her debut, she's still as silly and fun like before. Going forward from how advanced Fleed's technology truly is, she stated that Fleedians can make interstellar trips and control gravity, later mentioned by a professor that they cannot be compared with Earth's weapons.

In what appears to be Grendizer's quickest battle against a Saucer Beast, he spins Jirojiro around at blurry speeds while in a Spazer before throwing them with one hand and firing out Spin Saucers for the first time in this continuity.

While it's only a new opening sequence, Mazinger Z got it's own clip different from reused footage in last four episodes.

Nothing much happened in a new episode (outside of Tirona's Aquadizer being resistant to Space Thunder and attacking Duke by freezing the air to create superconductivity), but around the start, the Spazer's power (which is part of Grendizer's energy) was measured to be about 170 trillion joules and it's potential energy can be compared to that of a star.

I haven't been in this site for a while, but as someone who likes a lot of classic mecha like Mazinger Z, Getter Robo, Voltes V and Zambot 3, I'd be willing to help out. I already did a bunch research for these verses for fun but idk how much would hold up to this wiki's standards.

Hopefully we could get the Brave Series on wiki at some point.
I watched some of the Brave Series, along with the last two Eldran Saga shows. Da-Garn, Goldran and Dagwon have planetary feats. But I believe Gaogaigar is the strongest of the Brave Shows.
-Da-Garn destroyed Ohboss planet while another character (a dragon) was about to destroy Earth with its presence.
-Goldran's villain, Walzac Republic's emperor Treasure Walzac used a missile that can destroy Planet Legendra. And the explosion can be outside the Golden Galaxy.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the main robots got destroyed, but their crystals survived the explosion.

-In Dagwon, Warugaia Mado absorbed the energy of the protagonists and created an energy ball that first destroyed one of Mars's moons and was about to destroy Earth. Super Fire Dagwon destroyed that energy ball and killed Mado. Genocide is a parasite that can possess robots, asteroids and planets. He almost managed to possess Earth.
-Ganbaruger villain turned into a giant claw and crushed Earth, Venus and Mercury. Yaminarius III used his magic to keep Earth together. While Gosaurer main villain turned the Solar System planets into machine and can use them as weapons. In the final battle, Gakuengar purified the Solar System and returned the Moon to its orbit by pushing it. The villain of Gosaurer can crush the Moon's surface.
I need to watch Raijin-oh, but I read the show doesn't have great feats.

I vaguely remember seeing GaoGaiGar calcs that had tier 6 and 5 results(a shit ton), I could eventually go back and rewatch it (it's been 11 years)

Didn't Genesic Gaogaigar destroy a fake Sun?

Also, forgot to mention that Ohboss calls himself the universe and is suggested to be incarnation of cosmic horror. He is as old as the universe (Violetche said that he is from another dimension) and only absorbs planet energy and destroys planet because he is bored and wants to see the legendary power (Great Da Gaan GX).

By the way, the dragon is called Cyan. I forgot the villains are named after colours like Red Ribbon.

With the Goldion Crusher, yeah. Genesic might be tier 4 without it, idk, iirc most tier 5 shit in GGG is like late series, primeval shit and like King J-der, etc

Reached episode 47 of Fighbird. And forget about Gaogaigar being the strongest Brave character. Dryas absorbed the evil energy of the universe and transformed into Organic Dryas by using the suffering of the slaves that were building the Devil Tower. After that, he starts calling himself the God of Darkness and uses his new power to transform the Earth and the universe into a dark universe.

Also, forgot to mention that En survived entering the atmosphere in Super Fire Dagwon in the last episode. En can't use that form when he wants because it damages him.

Genesic might still be tier 4 even without Goldion Crusher, since it survived from the shockwave of Goldion Crusher itself, and it can trade blows with Palparepa Plus who can harm it.
