Dragonite's resistant towards Fire type moves, but Charizard can use Dragon type moves which are super effective against Dragonite. I think this can go either way.

Mega charizard battled Mewtwo, that is far from anything that Dragonite has to show.

It all depends on the trainer. Trainerless? Dragonite, since you can't be Mega Evolved without a trainer link. With Dragonite's trainer as, like, Iris, Dragonite. If M Charizard's trainer is the guy from the Mega Evo specials, M Charizard. It could go either way with neutral trainers though

They are acting on there own but Charizard can Mega evolve freely, I understand you normally can't do it without a trainer but for this battle he can.

pls. don't compare Origins mewtwo to anime or manga mewtwos. Origins Mewtwo didn't show even 8-A feats.

If it's Alain's Mega Charizard and Iri's Dragonite - Charizard Stomp (Iris's Dragonite's strongest attack didn't scrath even normal Ash's charizard, and Alain's is similar strong as Ash's).
