Yes, we'll at least the Manga shows how he absorbs. In the Video Game because it's story is told through Character Dialogue and Static Character Portraits only we have no idea how the mechanics work. Besides you telling us it's Passive, despite the only evidence being he absorbed a Black Hole that was absorbing Time, which isn't enough proof as Mechkiabura himself shows no feats of his Absorption being Passive, and when the Time Patoral did escape the Black Hole they were not absorbed again when they were fighting him, despite the fact they should have if it was Passive.

And that was prevented due to the protection of the Keysword's Light Energy, keep in mind this is also how they escaped in the manga. In the Manga the Light Energy from Demigra's chains on top of the Keysword helped temporarily restrict Mechikabura's power, aka Power Null, and in the game Xeno Bardock freed the Time Patrol using the Keysword. The Keysword can not be affected by Demon Gods, which was established earlier.

Is there any actual proof it's Passive beyond the logic that; he Absorbed a Black Hole that was absorbing Time, so therefore his Absorption must also be Passive? Any statements or feats of his, and not the Black Hole's, Absorption being Passive?
