This is looking bad for prime Odin
Tbf he seems hurt but not that badly, it's entirely possible the scene will show Odin being a bit hurt but not that much and immediately recover (yes it's a bit of copism but hey)

cnbc is pretty credible
The key point on that exact link is

-While Majors most recently appeared in the Marvel’s second season of “Loki,” the studio had previously not commented on his future with the brand

meaning I think they are just saying what they think will happen

it’s pretty much confirmed

By who tho it seems like everyone is just assuming since he was found guilty where as anyone apart of Disney came out and announced their plan

Brother, there are sources and people with insider knowledge that leak info to the press all the time and a good chunk of the time they don't get it wrong, especially when it comes to stories as big as these. Plus do you really think Disney is going to stick with a person convicted with assault as the main villain for the next 3 years for their biggest franchise?

i don’t see how they could possibly deal with the Kang situation since they have already shown their is a ton of them out there a big point of Loki Season 2 was that there was so many of them

Talk about a way to absolutely **** up your own career like that though. You're on your way to become the new face of the biggest film franchise in the world for the next few years, fated to have international fame for the rest of your life and it falls out of your hands like that.

tbh I don't feel sorry for him at all, it's his own fault that he decided to be a bad person

The question now is whether they'll try to recast him or just bomb the Kang saga all together.

Though I guess this is probably an indication of the answer to that, especially when you consider the reports from a month ago saying they may pivot to Dr. Doom.

Having dr doom show up would be horrible cause he’d have no build up like thanos or kang was getting their best bet should just recast they’ve done it before in the mcu

it is insane how the worst possible scenario for banking your entire next phase on one actor ended up happening
In hindsight they probably would've cast other actors for the variants but they probably originally planned not to because they wanted to make it obvious that these characters were different versions of the same people.

definitely agree, doom is an incredibly nuanced character and doesn't deserve to be thrown in at the last second as damage control

i kinda wish this new saga was set up with doom from the start though since kang has always been a C to B-tier villain and i always thought it was strange they chose him out of everyone

They're gonna pivot to the Dr. Doom saga instead and its not gonna go look pretty at all due to rushed set up, if any setup at all.

I remember from the start I was hoping the next saga after Endgame would be lower stakes to establish what the universe looks like now after such a massive event, like a mini one to two phase saga that ends with a new Avengers roster, but now we've gone on near three years with barely any satisfying set-up (apart from Loki), no Avengers or event like crossover movies since 2019, and now they're possibly looking to completely change the rest of the saga. It's not looking good I can't lie.

Personally I would just recast but off the top of my head the only time they've ever done a major recast was when they switched Rhody from Terrence Howard to Don Cheadle.
Bruce Banner being switched from Edward Norton to Mark Ruffalo was a pretty major recast too.

Just red about Majors

Well, that's the end for Kang then. If we're really going for Doom, we better have a very good set up. That or a recast. Regardless, the failure is absolute

The DC thread seems dead so I'm posting it right here but apparently Aquaman 2 sucks
Tbf did it really have any legit expectations?

Also the fact Shazam and Aquaman got inconsequential sequels (due to the DCEU reboot) before we got a single Martian Manhunter or Lobo movie is wild to me.

Man, that episode sucked. It's about as contrived as it gets. Not a great start for this season.
