[MCU Cosmology] Could the Ancient One have known about the multiverse?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has two statements about its Multiverse being infinite in size:

• Ancient One states that the universe is only one of an infinite number and that there are worlds without end, which is further confirmed by a guidebook which also states that there are endless possibilities.
• A guidebook states that Dormammu is constantly plotting to conquer all of the infinite realities and dimensions within the Multiverse into his Dark Dimension.

But actually these statements refer only to the Sacred Timeline and not to the Multiverse as a whole, this is because He Who Remains after ending the Multiversal War isolated the Sacred Timeline and disconnected it from the rest of the Multiverse, with WoG stating: "He managed to close himself off and isolate the timeline that we all know from the other timelines. It’s almost like they’re an island that’s completely hidden from everyone. He’s been doing that to protect himself because he’s afraid of the other variants of himself". Therefore nobody, including Ancient One and Dormammu, can have knowledge beyond the Sacred Timeline, thus the statements of the infinite universes, realities and dimensions can only refer to the Sacred Timeline.

According to this, the Ancient One couldn’t have possibly known about the multiverse because it was before He Who Remains death.

The material above confirms that the multiverse expanded retroactively. This means that, chronologically, the Multiverse has always existed within the MCU (in-universe), including during Doctor Strange 1 (2016). In terms of real-world film releases, the Multiverse wasn't introduced chronologically, and theoretically didn't exist until Loki (2021).

According to Loki, He Who Remains pruned all the branching timelines and then isolated the Sacred Timeline, much like a hidden island. Given this, how can we rule out the existence of a wider multiverse outside HWR's control? If it is isolated like a hidden island, could there theoretically be a multiverse (another island, the mainland)?

The current VSBW cosmology page contains various statements, often casual and contradictory, that each timeline could be its own multiverse. There are many contradictory statements about MCU cosmology. If anyone could clarify this, I'd appreciate it.

That doesn't matter, the artbook of Doctor Strange 2 straight up states that the infinite universes mentioned by Ancient One during the first movie are nestled within the same timeline.

Shouldn't the Cosmology page be updated to include this material, which solves the problem very easily and also makes the page much simpler? The current page has a kinda flawed logic as to why the Ancient one refers to the sacred timeline only while this just straight up explains it and is a WoG statement.

Yeah, the cosmology page hasn't been updated since before the 6-D hypertimeline was accepted, it's severely outdated

Idk, the 6-D hypertimeline was accepted but never implemented to the page, I guess you could make a sandbox and discuss it in the general discussion
