Why don't we use E=mc┬▓ for calcs where masses are created and not manipulated?

What does being an offensive technique have to do the use of this equation in calcs?
Any result would have to be evaluated of course and whether or not a result can be applied to AP depends solely on how a verse portrays things, no?

Stellar level creation stuff is being debated right now, but as an overview it gets a lot of outliers and there's no reason to assume generic creation is ME as opposed to magic or something with no further explanation from the verse.
