Ok, Joker is weaker but he will probably try to get a hit on Hoffman to no avail and he will probably get beatdown like in the movie. I guess it is very likely that he will use the acid or handbuzzer if he ever gets the chance seeing his situation

Joker uses Smylex and Hoffman doesn't feel so good

Hoffman basically uses any of his gas acid/poisons and Joker dies. He also could use turrets, various bombs, etc. Hoffman doesn't linger, he kills as quick as possible. He also vastly outskills Joker.
