The link took me to a SPM enemy that you can only defeat by “3D-ing” around to its tail. I don’t see how that’s teleportation or helpful

I’ve watched a friend play it. Iirc the flip allows you to switch between 2D and 3D and vice versa. What I’m not understanding is what part of that is teleportation?

Here it is, the Flip ability being used to teleport. Here's him teleporting away by jumping, he did this to go back to his time period
