The higher-dimensional soul is noted to be seperate from the soul that persists within the body, as well, and is made up of spiritrons. Mages can only make use of "Pseudo" Spiritrons.

Not sure why you are bringing up someone with high-levels of immortalities. It is already stated that Space Ashtart doesn't play by the same rules:

If Ashtart Origin can survive without a soul, and Tiamat can survive her Spirit Origin collapsing, this doesn't apply to everyone else.

As for regular humans, their souls can't persist in the world for long without a body.

The higher dimensional soul is something seperate from the soul that exists in the material world, and its power isnt something that is drawn from automatically. Case Files points out the differences between the two, but ill have to grab that.

Space-Ereshkigal had to "unlock" the ability to use its power.
