There have actually been a few live-action Lupin III versions, an english version would be interesting to say the least

Oh yeah there has been live action ones with Japanese actors. But if Hollywood needed actors on it, Jim Carrey as Lupin is super obvious.

Got a question on how we should handle Mamo's profile.

How should we handle his ability scaling? Due to his intelligence and effect on the verse he'd practically have almost every single form of ability or equipment in his back pocket that doesn't require combat skill, with very specific exceptions to it. I have a separate ability tab specifically for this on my Mamo sandbox but I figured it'd be worth asking how yall would feel about it since it would be a very long list of abilities he's never shown to do personally.
 
Almost halfway through Part 4 (Finally doing the Modern Update now that all the big side shiz has been handled). And I have to say......


GOD I FORGOT HOW SAD "WELCOME TO THE HAUNTED HOTEL" WAS!!! My heart is currently weeping as my fingers begrudgingly type down a feat for Lupin, that I hate to see.
 
Just finished adding all of the Gambling stuff (besides the Robots and other statistical stuff since I'll wait for the actual calcs to be approved before touching those sections)

Don't worry too much on any errors in the writing, the Modern Update will literally be changing everything and I kinda half-assed putting the feats on the profiles since I literally have to do it all over again for the Revised Profiles which should look much better.
 
Plus, while I'm not going to make it right now (Plate is full enough tackling all of the modern stuff + basically remaking all the profiles ground up), Nyx 200,000% is getting a profile made for him. Dude has a unique ability pool, badass feats, MI6 technology for standard and optional gear, and I know he has at least 1 gambling feat + unironically has some pretty good resistance to sound/sleep/dream manip (was the only guy to actually withstand Leonardo's Dream hax for a bit, requiring multiple blasts to knock him out).

Rebecca on the other hand...... yeah she's Fujiko Light™. While a fun and good character, a lot of her feats either involve her butler, her buying the thing that she's trying to deal with, or is just Fujiko's equipment rebranded. Nothing truly stand out to warrant a profile being made.

I got invited to some discord server with them in there (apparently I'm now the default Lupin guy everyone goes to lol) and they wanted you two to know that.

....... I just did some fact checking, in Part 5's first episode Lupin makes enough money from the Marco Polo heist that it's "as big as the national budget" or "national budget territory". Obviously, since the part is in France, they should be referring to the 2018 French national budget which is

500 billion USD

From a single job, this series is insane people. For those wondering about any possible counterarguments on "why would the Japanese show be referring to a non-Japanese national budget", the Japan 2018 national budget was 860 billion USD!!!!!!!! Nobody's lowballing Lupin's wallet anytime soon!
 
Small mistake, was looking at the national budget not deposit (because apparently entire nations can just go overboard on how much money they spend, regardless on if they have it in the bank or not)

The actual result is still in the tens of billions however, which is still ludicrous and richer than Batman
 
Also, now that I'm in Part 5 I think it's time to address the elephant in the room. Should we consider the openings as valid feats? Thanks to the Gambling update (and the series in general on a low level) all the main cast are 4th wall breakers with there being moments of them knowing about the nature of the show. Obviously this won't give them anything if the scene is purely stylistic or is just for show (I used similar restrictions for the Gambling stuff since those Pachinkos do a lot of random stuff) however things like Lupin's car rocketing into space or the iconic 'Lupin shoots the opening' would qualify.
 
Some examples of what would count

Goemon slicing through buildings in the opening, Zenigata breaking some animation frames toon-force style, Lupin being able to make duplicates of himself to fool people, Zenigata and Lupin surfboarding, ect. Things that are there but can have some grounding with what's already known in the verse and could feasibly be done by them.

What would not count

Characters appearing in multiple locations at once, characters appearing abnormally large, characters being able to travel to various locations at absurd speeds. Things that are largely there just for symbolism or style, have no grounding on things, and are the equivalent of trying to say that this is viable means of astral projection (Knowing SpongeBob that's probably legit but you know what I mean, 99% of the time that wouldn't be viable)
 
I know I'm asking a bunch RN but granted I'm at the absolute peak of Lupin revisions at the moment and there are a lot of factors to take in right now.

Making Da Vinci's profile early on account of the fact that he's needed to solidify the idea that the cast can be classified as smarter + open the door to the idea of higher stats (He's unironically a pretty powerful reality warper while inside the Italian Dream). My main issue is the lack of images for the great artist, which means I am forced to create my own. The issue is there really isn't that many flattering close ups, which means many of his possible images would be more limiting. So I've narrowed myself to 3 options.

Option A - The First Supper, this is him sitting down at a table. Not the best shot but shows off what's needed

Option B - The First Guest, has the most of his body shown out of any shot (besides the one where he's just nude lol). Issue is the lighting in that scene is weird and doesn't look the best

Option C - The Painter's Choice, a high quality image showing off Da Vinci perfectly....... issue is it's fan art. We are allowed to use it if official means are lacking in quality, and I personally like this piece the most out of the options since it shows off Vinci's more carefree personality while getting ready to throwdown. Also it low-key feels a bit like Ghibli art which I have personal bias for lol, since Miyazaki was a heavy influence on the series + Leonardo literally flies around in a complex flying machine which Miyazaki famously loves.

Also very tempted to replace Pycal's image with this fan art because lets be honest, part 1's render doesn't look that good and that was unironically the best one I could find for him. I feel like he at least has a very strong argument for the "replace with fan art" argument

the only issue is actually figuring out how many god-damn bubbles are there. Just eyeballing it alone gives it a strong argument for galaxy since it only needs to be 624 bubbles to reach that level

(Bit of an asterisk, this rating comes from the fact that each memory would be treated as a pocket dimension which can vary depending on how we scale them. Bare minimum is Star Level for each bubble since we see Leonardo create a pocket dimension with a sun via the dream/memory stuff, however there's a strong argument for Multi-Solar per bubble on account of the fact that those memories are 1 for 1 with the anime and various scenes with Rebecca has a starry sky in the background. The higher end is basically guaranteed galaxy, low end would naturally be much smaller)

Going for the fan image, the ones I made aren't that good and while I found an official render for him it looks like actual trash (fan image comparison is in the other render tab next to it). Ignore anything that looks weird on the sandbox, I literally just copy and paste Goemon's sandbox to act as a decent starting point
