This is the current calculation.

This is a recalc which also got accepted.

The reason why I think latter one is better is written in the blog (in short, it's a timeframe issue). Since there are 2 accepted versions, this thread's aim is to decide which one should be used.

looking at the previous calculation, I didn’t realize it had Zack moving 3.46 meters in that timeframe. Thats definitely a huge high ball considering that’s almost half the distance of a boxing ring. The second calculations distance is a lot more reasonable with the distance moved (I also have issues with 34.3 being used for movement speed but that’s a whole other topic and not just a Lookism thing). I didn’t have issues with the first ones timeframe but I do think the distance move is a more egregious error. Definitely more inclined for the recalculation.

DMUA accepted low end though.

As for first calc's distance, it being unreal or not doesn't matter much since for the same panel proportion will remain the same. Problematic part is timeframe.

Yeah, my comment was kinda off topic (just a pet peeve of mine). I do think the distance of the first one is still a big issue but to get back on this. I believe that if you send both calculations (or this forum) to a calc evaluator or the person who evaluated the calcs, they’re suppose to choose which one makes more sense. Since luckily both calcs were evaluated by the same person, I believe you just ask for their opinion on the topic.

Lookism verse's scaling is bad, this reminded me to make a downgrade thread.
whats bad about it outside of some questionable accepted speed calcs? theres better ones out there fundementally with higher results. the calc members sleep on it tho.

Hello, I was summoned here.

Next time don't use a red line on a red object, took me a while to understand where the glove line was in the second scan '-'.

Anyhow, I think the recalc is better, the first calc is fundamentally flawed due to how big the blue line and, by proxy, that guy's arm is

So since the recalc is accepted, does that mean the thread is closed and the calc on the verse page is replaced?

Thanks for contributing. 🙏

That'd probably need a CRT. Also since recalc is mine I don't have right to vote I think?

@DMUA (sorry for the tag) your input would be appreciated. Since you're the one who accepted recalc, should I put you as agree?

No rule against it, I personally wouldn't vote if it was me
I've seen people mostly avoiding it even if there's no strict rule about it. So I guess I'll do the same.
