The time has come. And so have I.

Basically Lobotomy needs some big revisions. Both just because it does, but also because Library of Ruina is a thing and needs to be added.

Before even starting, one might wonder "Wait Saikou why do you want to add Library of Ruina when it's early access. Didn't you not want this." And while true, I think that LoR is a lot more relevant to add early. The most important point being that other parts of the verse already heavily pull from the lore of LoR despite the game not being fully out yet, such as the Distortion Detective. Not using LoR would be extremely silly and wonky. So let's do it.

Verse Split

This one is more about presentation but still. Essentially, this franchise has a lot of different works of fiction with different names, and not all of them fit under the "Lobotomy Corporation" umbrella. As all those games are made by the company ProjectMoon, the verse page should become a big verse thingy like Nasuverse, simply named "ProjectMoon" (yes, without the space). Lobotomy Corporation, WonderLab, Library of Ruina, and Distortion Detective will be their own subverse in the main thing.

The Well of Humanity

This isn't really part of the CRT but just a clarification for the potency of stuff that scales to it, I'll explain the Well of Humanity here. It is some sort of vague space often equated to a sea, a river or a well. It has existed before the world itself has and is possibly the origin of everything, including all 'possibilities', as well as stretching across the past and future. We know that possibilities exist as physical timelines, and that there is an infinite number of them. Thus, the Well of Humanity is a sort of mental space that originates and contains likely infinite possibilities and the subconscious of humanity. As well, it predates the world itself and sorts of transcend time, as it contains elements from the future even in the present.

As well, it is where Light is extracted from (as Abnormalities are extracted from the Well of Humanity and themselves are born from Light). And Light is potent enough that the small part Angela had left was used to create the Library. Which is an infinite separate universe. The Library's scope includes multiple universes, as its Invitation was able to reach the Molar Office mid-WARP Train transport, which travels through separate space-time continuums. As the Library is pretty much an offshoot of the Well of Humanity, it is more proof of the Well of Humanity's scope being multiversal.

So, in short, the Well of Humanity is a semi-mental space that is likely 2-A in size due to containing/originating infinite possibilities and which transcends time, due to containing future elements. It is likely outside the reaches of regular space-time due to its nature. It also contains mental energy that is potent enough to create entirely separate space-time continuums at a whim.

Abnormality Physiology

Abnormalities have a bunch of shared powers. But the way we currently apply them is not the most accurate. So those abilities should be reworked and stuff, as well as possibly compiled into a Physiology Page like what seems to be trendy nowadays. I already have a sandbox for the future page for this ability, but I'll explain where these abilities come from here.

The Resistance to Information Analysis and the Acausality are both characteristics that are heavily implied to be characteristics of anything born from the Well of Humanity, such as Abnormalities, E.G.O. or the Library itself. All elements of the Library share these characteristics with Distortions. In a very similar vein, the causality-tracking machine of Gaze Office stopped tracking the Molar Office once they entered the Library. This inability to be detected or analyzed is further stated to apply to Distortions. This thus implies that both the Acausality and resistance to information analysis are inherent to things born from the Well of Humanity, including the Library, its content, and Distortions and other beings like this.

The passive Mind Manipulation is already there. However, as stated on the page it is possibly higher in potency. These two screenshots show what happens when someone peers into the Well. It is vaguely worded, as is usual with the character, but I do think it strongly implies that one's mind is directly exposed and partially fused with the Well itself. As explained before, the Well is an infinite mental structure that extends across space-time. As well, a small and finite part of it in the form of Light has enough power to create infinite alternate universes with their own timescale. To me, this would likely mean that exposure to the Well is essentially smurfy mindhax, as you're faced with mental energy that's potent enough to create 4-D structures.

As for why it applies to Abnormality passive mindhax? Abnormalities are direct manifestations of the Well and the process that caused the two previous screenshots to occur was the creation of an Abnormality. As well, Adam's speech implies that the fear of Abnormalities is caused by fear of being exposed to the world. Which is an approximation of what the process of looking into the Well is; having your mind directly exposed to the collective unconscious of humanity. All of this combined means that it's very likely that the passive fear hax of Abnormalities is related to seeing the Well. Even if it isn't, mindhax of the verse in general is capable of affecting Binah, who can resist the above Well exposure. So either way, mindhax in Lobotomy is likely to be smurfy in nature.

The Creation is based on their ability to create E.G.O. Gifts on their own. As shown in WonderLab, it is actually spontaneous creation. Simple.

Several Abnormalities have different shapes later on, such as depicted here. It's not known how it works, but it seems global enough to apply to all Abnormalities. So limited Transformation for them.

Now finally, the Abstract Existence and Immortality. Currently we rate the Abnormality's immortality as simple regeneration. However, I do believe it to be higher than this. Abnormalities are physical manifestations of abstract thoughts and ideas from the Well of Humanity. That much is already accepted, but it doesn't give them any specific abilities. But further scans do seem to imply that their immortality is due to this link to their abstract selves. First of all, Ordeals have this rather unambiguously. They normally exist in the Well as ideas, and then manifest physically whenever. This happens no matter how hard they're killed. While Ordeals aren't Abnormalities, they are very similar in nature. They're basically unintended bits of Abnormalities. Secondly, Abnormalities can, again unambiguously, keep existing as their abstract selves. As shown here. Even with them being stripped of their physical form, they still persist as their abstract selves. While this would qualify as a sort of Type 2, Tiph's comment in the third screenshot heavily implies this to be valid for Type 8. Essentially, Abnormalities are stuck in their abstract form due to having been sucked out of their energy. But this very notion implies that if the Abnormalities weren't weakened, they'd be able to maintain a physical form, even despite the damage. If a weakened Abnormality specifically cannot maintain a physical form, a full power Abnormality should be able to. And so, this would give them Type 8 Immortality and Type 2 Abstract Existence. This only applies to Abnormalities and Ordeals, not Distortions. This will replace the current regeneration rating; each individual Abnormality will be given their own regeneration rating based on their own shorter term feats if they have any.

Damage Types

A few revisions to damage types is in order.

BLACK damage is currently treated as a weird resistance neg against physical damage. Which is absurdly stupid. So I'd like to change it to proper durability negation. Here (and in other places), BLACK damage is treated as 'eroding' one's being. This is consistent with how Abnormalities using dissolving attacks primarly all use BLACK damage. So the physical damage part of BLACK damage should be rated as Corrosion Inducement, with resistances added accordingly. The Mind Manipulation part should remain Resistance Negation. Note that this would mean that Abnormalities that deal only BLACK damage would have their attack potency changed to Unknown or downgraded to their highest level of direct physical damage.

Not much to modify for WHITE damage. The main thing is that most Abnormalities who use WHITE damage will likely scale in term of mind manipulation to the Pianist, as those equal to it have shown being capable of resisting its effects, yet are still vulnerable to WHITE damage in general. As well, the Pianist being considered WAW or similar in strength by WoG would make the mindhax capacity of Abnormalities of this level comparable to the Pianist. And the Pianist's mindhax potency is likely in the billions, as it has affected most of the City. And the City is very large, as it's been compared to a continent in size by WoG, small parts of it are large enough to contain entire forests and each parts of it have their own cultures. As well, the City is generally treated as the only non-wasteland place where humanity resides. All of that means that if we don't consider the mindhax smurfy as shown above, at least each mindhax user in Lobotomy proper would backscale to the Pianist's feat of affecting the mind of billions of people.

PALE damage should simply be Soul Manipulation as well as Death Manipulation, as it is stated to shave away at the soul. So both WHITE and PALE damage grants soul manip resist if you resist them. Although only PALE damage is consistently Soul Manip if the user uses it.

Finally, the way we treat resistance should be changed a bit. First of all, the normal human resistance to BLACK damage is a weakness of 1.5. This means that any set of armor or Abnormality that has a weakness to BLACK damage that is less than 1.5 will get resistance. Secondly, any Abnormality that's TETH level or higher should get resistance to WHITE damage and BLACK damage. If we consider Clerks to be our "no resistance at all" standards, then it means that even monsters supposedly weak to WHITE damage can still take it more easily than a Clerk. So about anything that's stronger than ZAYIN level stuff should get resistance regardless of their in-game resistances.

8-B Scaling

Currently our assumption for the verse is that the gap between risk levels is high and Abnormalities of different risk levels hurting each other is game mechanic. However this assumption is bad. Not only is it unsupported but it's contradicted by both implications from the game itself (how WAW level entities can acknowledge fighting ALEPH level entities, indicating it is canon) and WonderLab. Employees with lower level gear can effectively fight higher level Abnormalities even if they struggle, such as HE class Rose and ZAYIN class Catt fighting a WAW class Abnormality here. So the scaling should be more so based on in-game fight than assuming power gaps.

8-B comes from the Food Chain, which is WAW class and deals 30-40 damage. High 8-C comes from the Perfect Meal, which deals 1-2 damage. Any entity in the game deals similar damage to the Perfect Meal, so even ZAYINs should scale to High 8-C. TETH would have a different scaling depending on how strong they are. Most Abnormalities in this class would be just High 8-C, but E.G.O. weapons or Abnormalities that deal higher damage would have "'possibly 8-B" added to them. Most HE class Abnormalities and EGO will be "Likely 8-B", although some particularly weak attacks might get the same rating of High 8-C, possibly 8-B. Finally, all WAWs will just be 8-B and ALEPHs will keep their rating.

As well, this means that WHITE damage users will also backscale from the Pianist's mindhax potency, as previously discussed.

Library of Ruina Keys

A bunch of existing characters would get a new key for their Library of Ruina appearance.

As I showed above in the Sandbox, all Abnormalities that appear in Library of Ruina will have at least two new key; Weakned Inside of their Book and Weakened Outside of their Book. Inside the book, they lack the ability to regenerate from their conceptual form but are still alive even if destroyed and are kept together by Angela, hence the Type 8. Outside of their book, they are stuck in their mental, conceptual form inside of other people. A person who draws too much power from the Abnormalities in this state can be mentally affected and eventually lead to become the Abnormality, as it is what the Distortion is. The Abnormalities that get uniqiue abilities in their LoR key will also gain it in their Lobotomy key, as their LoR self is just an heavily weakened self.

Next up, all Sephirahs (which are only Gebura, Binah and Netzach right now) will gain keys that emulate this future, currently WIP profile. Outside of the Floor-specific E.G.O. and Abnormality Cards, all Sephirahs can have the same abilities as the Librarians. Now I'm not gonna provide scans for all the abilities here because it'd require me to give scans about the entire game and well, **** that? So I'll have to pull a "Dude trust me". When the Librarian profile goes live, all Sephirahs will gain a slightly modified version of the profile as a key.

Gebura's Kali key will get a few modifications, based on her appearance in Library of Ruina. She'll gain Statistics Amplification due to Focus Spirit boosting her strength, as well as Transformation and limited Conceptual Manipulation due to manifesting her own E.G.O., which works on the same principle as creating Abnormalities; manifesting abstract mental concepts physically. She'll also get the global resistances of LoR chars that will be explained in the "Others" section. Library Gebura will also get access to the same unique powers as Kali.

Binah will get a new key for her human version. It's essentially the same as her Sephirah form, except slightly stronger and without her Sephirah-exclusive powers. She'll also get her own Librarian key, but it is vastly different from other Librarian keys, as it features weakened versions of her Arbiter powers.

Sweepers will get a key from their Library of Ruina version. They will be 9-A due to the feats in Library of Ruina, as well as gain the abilities they have in the Librarian profile.

Other

Library of Ruina profiles can now be created.

Abnormalities and Employees that are HE level or above will get new resistances, the same ones that are universal among the LoR cast past a certain level. Namely, they will gain Resistance to Mind Manipulation due to resisting Alriune's weakened mind manipulation in her fight. They will resist Spatial Manipulation due to being able to tank the space-cutting blows of the W Corp clean up crew. Finally, they will get Resistance to Conceptual Manipulation due to resisting a weakened Binah's attacks, which I will explain in the last section.

The White Ordeal (aka White Fixer, Red Fixer and the Claw) should get back their immortality and stuff relating to being an Ordeal. WoG confirms they're not 'real' and are still ordeals. This idea is consistent with a variety of other stuff, like how the Red and Black fixers don't match their real life counterparts, how the fixers keep coming back despite only one of each color existing, why they use White, Pale and Black damage despite it being exclusive to Lobotomy, etc.

All Abnormalities ages (except for the three birds) should be standarized as "Likely less than 10", as Abnormalities were created by Lobotomy Corporation, which existed for at least 10 years. The Birds predate the Corporation, so how old they are is unknown.

Individual Profile Changes

And to top it off, changes that will mostly only affect individual profiles.

Binah should get Resistance to Reality Warping and Acausality Type 1 for the same reasons Gebura has them. I just forgot to add them to her. Additionally, she should have Conceptual Manipulation (Type 3). She uses "Fairy" and "Lock", which are technologies that can essentially apply the concept of "Unlocking" and "Locking" on anything. While it's not made clear how Fairy is used offensively, the opposite technology being used to "Lock" the bodies of humans heavily implies that the "Unlocking" ability of Fairies can be used offensively in the attacks Binah use. This would thus add offensive conceptual manipulation to both her regular self and to a lesser extent to her LoR self. Anyone who can take hits from her (which means Star of the City level people or ALEPHs in Lobotomy) should thus gain resistance to it.

Apocalypse Bird should have a mention about how the individual eggs do not resist Reality Warping. An extra weakness.

The Rabbit Team should be overhauled. It should be renamed to "Rabbit Team Soldier" first of all. Secondly it should include all the abiliities of their LoR self even in the Lobotomy key. Thirdly, they will get a LoR key where the only difference is their lack of WHITE, BLACK and PALE damage. Finally, it should be noted that Lobotomy Rabbits can only deal one of the 4 damage types, not all at once as it is written on the profile.

Meat Lantern should gain Acid Manipulation due to having acidic saliva.

Laetitia herself should gain limited passive Time Manipulation, as she apparently suffers from some time interference bullshit that causes her movements to jump around weirdly. Also, her friends should gain Non-Corporeal and Creation for existing non-physically before manifesting themselves into the physical world.

The Queen of Hatred's monster form should have Enhanced Senses due to detecting enemies with sound, with the same precision as sight.

CENSORED should gain "possibly Conceptual Manipulation". It is suggested that it devours something conceptual from corpses it ingests. While it's only suggested, I think it's fair to include as authors do not bring up completely new facts about their universe only for them to be a lie for no good reasons, but as it is somewhat consistent. CENSORED already damages a person's identity by making even their names be CENSORED. So I think that the idea of CENSORED eating someone's concept or something is an adequate explanation for this.

Nothing There should have increased Lifting Strength, as it's stated that its axe has mass beyond any measurement limits. The heaviest thing directly measured is this thing, which weighs 6959014 kilograms. That's Class M. This doesn't really scale to anyone, as no one lifts or overpower Nothing There. The only exception is Apocalypse Bird, whose physical strength is directly compared to Nothing There.

Yin should lose Absorption and Attack Reflection. This ability was a misinterpretation from the Lobotomy Wiki. Instead, it should just have Aura, as its aura passively corrodes everything around it.

Yang should lose Absorption for the same reasons as Yin. It will keep a weakened version of Attack Reflection, as while it does not negate damage it takes, it does give mental damage to its attacker with potency depending on the strength of the original attack.

Shelter from the 27th of March should lose its Subjective Reality and Perception Manipulation. Both of those were just mistranslations. The Shelter just warps reality to be more hopeless.

Employees should have Extrasensory Perception with certain E.G.O. gifts, as they gain a sixth sense to allow them to live and see normally even when functionally blind.

Conclusion

So the big fat conclusion of this big fat CRT:

-Library of Ruina is now considered [canon].

-Abnormalities get their basic properties changed, including replacing regeneration with Abstract Existence

-BLACK damage is now properly assumed to bypass durability

-Resistances to WHITE and BLACK now applies to most people

-Scaling is reworked, a lot more people scale to 8-B

-The collapse of L Corp was an inside job

-Abnormalities gets keys for their LoR appearance

-Sephirahs gets keys for their LoR appearance

-Some random bullshit

So there we go.

disagree because you didn’t help me with minecraft

I helped you for a long time and I had to deal with that bullshit for a lot longer before you, dear Mori. It's up to you now.

Great, you didnt use that whack yesod floor calc. That was the only thing i disagreed with, so fire away.

Still dibs on Distortion Detective tho.

DD 9-A feats due to cross-scaling, Wonderlab is 8-B due to cross scaling but without it I believe it is also 8-B due to the 2 ALEPHS surviving a site destruction (which is utterly massive from these shots)

Also quick unrelated question, could some of the WonderLab cast get profiles?
At least Catt since she seems somewhat unique, at least in comparison to others, who and kinda basic employees.

Yes, and many of the Wonderlab abnormalities have profiles, which will be transferred to Wonderlab specifically.

Yes, it was just a example. Also in Adams ending, didn't the light (I forget what happened) turn the people into distortions/abnormalities? Because if so that can give it corruption (type 3 i believe).
I was told this was Conceptual+Mind manipulation.

We already have a Catt profile

Anyway Lobotomy has Type 2 concept manipulation which is at the same time Type 4 conceptual manipulation, as even though it is a mental concept it comes from The Well of Humanity which exists beyond physical reality.

We can. Since we have Catt already.

Also I completely forgot but Catt's profile should be revised. Not only include the new stats, but also include the other EGO outfits she has gotten over the comic, as it's not been consistent.

Her base key should be 10-A, as she's shown to be quite athletic. Her spoon would be High 8-C as usual, with BLACK hax. She would get her Dingle-Dangle, The Road Home and Hookah Caterpillar armor as optional equipment.

Also the kinetic energy of Nothing there swinging its axe at its speed is 405 kilotons.

Edit: Calc stacking bad

We have 7, possibly 8 people agreeing (not including Saikou), and nobody disagreeing or being inconclusive on this matter. Should we go ahead and add this since when we have unanimous agreement?

No regen rating. Only immortality. I've already said that. Abnormalities with their own regen ability will keep a varying degree of regen, but only them.

Probably Melting Love or something via being a liquid being. It wouldn't scale to anyone except like, Melting Love herself though.

Arguably Laetitia's Friends have limited Low-Godly but eh.

I would say they do have limited Low-Godly, and would the AA regen scale to Mid-godly due to regening due to Soul Destruction? And for Melting Love what would her regen be?
