I mean, yeah, kinda? If a character can blind another through light, does it count as some HAX, even if it's "Limited"?
Depend of how the context of the resistance was made, if it was something like ''This creature resist light spells'' then yeah, but most of times, no.
And if the character resists the blinding ability of light, does it count as light resistance?
i think he means something like thisBy light do you mean by projecting tons of light or stopping light from reaching his eyes?
thats kinda of hax, as it negates durability in some wayI dont think it's hax since the character just projects a ton of light and the blinding part is just a biological process, just like how you kinda get blind when you look at sun directly too long
I also found this strange. A blind man can move, it shouldn't count as paralysis I think.Does blinding someone count as paralysing them? Technically it's just the vision that is getting impaired and any resulting lack of action would be the result of disorientation. The ability to move itself shouldn't impaired by that. The Paralysis Inducement page certainly doesn't seem to consider Light Manipulation as a possible reason for paralysis.
No.Isnt ur question answered?
No, it's just light manipulation. The blinding process is an after effect not directly caused by the ability. The blinding bit would simply be listed as something the character uses their light to do.If a character can blind another through light, does it count as some HAX, even if it's "Limited"?
It would be a resistance to status effect inducement as the user can resist turning blind rather than the actual light itself. And if the character resists the blinding ability of light, does it count as light resistance?
Does this answer your question?
More context? If a character can blind another through light, does it count as some HAX, even if it's "Limited"?
