I'm just confused after I encountered someone trying to explain Enel to me.
Basically, the idea was that since the lightning we see comes from the return stroke, which produces the light of the lightning, anyone reacting to the lightning bolt must be able to react to the return stroke speed (1/3 LS).
I know this wiki doesn't calc lightning like this but why is this idea wrong? Is it because the actual lightning bolt isn't the same speed as the return stroke? If that's the case, why can't you just say that anyone who reacts to the lightning bolt (what we see) is reacting to the return stroke?
