Light being massless?

I made a thread a while back about how Photons or light particles being described as both a particle and a wave would give it a form of validation to behave light real light. I was told that particles in general can act as both that and a wave because of the wave-particle duality at a quantum level.

however, since not all particles (if behaving like a wave) have mass, would adding that a photon or light particle without mass or matter support it being like real light particles?

That isn't necessarily something I would overthink if I were you. Quantum physics is really finicky.

I know, was just wondering though if particles or light is considering without mass, would that be considered a plus or validation?

Lightning is a discharge of electricity which is practically plasma.
