Life Force: Wanda's retconning.

Hello people, just sharing a thought. In Wanda's page she has a key labeled "When amplified by Life Force" as if Life Force is an external power, but it isn't. Life Force is just another aspect of her Chaos Magic, and even in the comics it has been stated multiple times it was just her power.

In Darkhold Omega Wanda called it her Her power when confronting Doom about it. And even when Doom has called it the past Life Force, he has also called Wanda's power as incomprehensible, so why he would know what is and what's not her power? And I thinks this just sits well, considering in her current comic and the solo she is going to have on June, she is going to face The Griever. The Griever sees Wanda as a threat of everything she represents because she is chaos, and she alone, is the power.

So all thing considered, shound't all be just one key?

OK, I'm going to attempt to explain this.

The Life Force IS an outside amp, but it's part of Wanda's power as a Nexus being to be able to tap into and use these outside amps via her magic to supercharge her spells

It's a power she uses to tap into any other magical field, including Moses Magnum's, Galactus', and Moonglow's

It's why in Trial of Magneto, to fix the spell and establish a way to bring mutants back from beyond, she needed Proteus and Legion to combine their powers with her.

It's also why in AvX, she needed to combine her powers with Rachel Grey to reverse the first part of M-Day (so new mutants could be born again)

It's why she says in Uncanny Avengers vol 1 #2 that she'd need casting time and a power source to do it again.

It's why when she tried to revive the mutants of Genosha, she only brought them back as Zombies

It's why even after tapping into the Chaos Magic of Earth, she could only BFR Thor. She didn't have time to tap into a larger power source.

Now, as for the current Scarlet Witch, in context: SHE HAS THAT POWER. She has the living Darkhold now, which is on par with the Life Force. However, she can't use it willy-nilly or else bad things happen. Here's the author, Jed MacKay stating so:

"What's your sense of the power Wanda can tap into as "The Living Darkhold?" And just how costly is that power?

What I think is interesting about Wanda's power is that it's at an extreme level, but with it comes its own set of problems -- namely, control of it. The Dead doesn't try to metaphorically out-punch Wanda. That's a losing proposition. But challenging her control over that power is an angle that can bear more fruit."

To use a metaphor: Superman's powered by the Sun. Now imagine if you hooked Superman up to a Solar well where he could tap into any solar energy when he wanted, given enough time. Of course, we'd still count his default as him, but note he had the potential to tap into others and list feats done using those others. It's still his power, but it's one that comes from an outside source.

Or...OH! Think about Ms. Marvel as Binary. Turning into Binary is HER POWER and Her ability, but she needs a strong enough outside source to trigger those levels.

We saw this in Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, where her tapping into the Darkhold made her go beast and Wizard EXPLICTLY states that's the threat they mention later in the same book, the threat to all realities. Wanda herself confirms the threat, that she unleashed something from the Darkhold.

So it's less that the Life Force was her power all along and more that the Life Force hypercharged her powers.

Oh, also stated in Exiles vol 1 #71 that Wanda's powers were supercharged
