Battle of the American Godzillas. About time this happens.

Zilla Jr. is scaled up to LP Godzilla's height but he keeps his weight of 60,000 metric tons while LP Godzilla stays at 90,000 metric tons.

Since Jr. now has a huge strength advantage as well as a speed advantage, he has a good shot at taking this.
 
You mean the lifting strength one? Yeah, he got bumped up to Class M+ lifting strength. It makes Zilla Jr. about 7-8 times stronger than LP Godzilla.

Yeah that's what I meant. This fight feels like a stomp since if they're both in-character then LG will go the physical route and get destroyed. :/
 
Giving this to G14, due to his superior durability allowing him to tank pretty much anything Zilla could throw at him. His Atomic Fire's gonna prove problematic for Zilla, and with Zilla's tendency to get in close, he's gonna get overpowered and stomped into the ground by Godzilla.
 
Why is G14 more durable than Zilla Jr., and why would G14 have the advantage when it comes to atomic breaths? Zilla Jr. has survived worse than G14's atomic breath and Jr.'s atomic breath is more powerful than G14's, not to mention Jr. uses his atomic breath more readily based on what we saw in the 2014 movie.

Up close, Zilla Jr. was about even with a martial arts-programmed robot, and he has faster reflexes. He also wrestled with El Gusano, who could jump hundreds of meters into the air (with no legs) and tunnel through the ground by smashing through it.

G14 survived bombardment from 300 lbs warheads, a fairly long beating from the MUTOs. and the Castle Bravo. He'd be able to tank any of Zilla's attacks. In regards to the Atomic Breaths, yes, Zilla does have the stronger beam. But G14 is more than tough enough to survive numerous shots of it, and his own Atomic Breath is still strong enough to push back Zilla and give Goji enough time to close the distance and engage him in melee.

Zilla does hold the clear speed advantage, true, but in the long run, it's just not gonna be enough to earn him the win, especially since he likes to confront his foes directly.
 
And Jr. isn't stronger than conventional warheads or the MUTOs? Currently, Jr. has the advantage in strength, speed, firepower, and tactics. LP Godzilla has no advantages in melee. Endurance is probably the only advantage LP Godzilla has here.
 
It won't be a cakewalk, but Zilla Jr. has a high shot at victory here. Both kaiju are of above average intelligence (for kaiju) and even in that I'd give an edge to Jr. LG has more staying power as was mentioned which, coupled with his durability, will likely be the only reasons he lasts more than a few minutes against Jr.

LG's Atomic Breath isn't really that potent either. Yeah it pushed back the Female M.U.T.O., but didn't exactly do anything beyond that (when not fired down her throat that is), and using it places a large strain on Godzilla's radiation reserves which is why he saves it for when nothing else will work and is very likely the reason he fainted after that fight.

I think it was the battle damage that tired him out. We don't really know all that much about his radiation reserves. If that were true, he'd be the first Godzilla ever to exhaust himself from using his atomic breath. Plus, the Godzilla: Awakening comic, which is canon but secondary to the movie, doesn't show him get exhausted from using his atomic breath.

So is this 2 votes for Jr. and 1 vote for Legendary Godzilla? Need to get more votes so we can actually add matchups to their profiles.
 
I started this thread when they were both rated as City Level. He's gotten big upgrades since then.


Well, this thread has become a stomp thread. And even if Zilla Jr. got the seven votes he needs, it really shouldn't count for anything because this is a stomp now.
