After a little encounter took place, The Crystal Gems have attained knowledge of the Ruby Pure Heart. Garnet has taken it upon herself to take a closer look at what could be lost gem tech. However Mao Mao has a sworn duty to protect the valley’s artifact and won’t give it up for anyone. Not even someone with seemingly good intentions.
  • Base Mao Mao is used
  • Speed is equalized
  • Fight takes place in Pure Heart Valley 5 meters away
  • Win via knockout, incap, or death
  • SBA for anything else

I do not quite recall how Garnet's precognition works. Anyone knowledgeable on it available?

Garnet can see multiple possible futures but she doesn’t exactly know what happens. Especially when there’s someone who’s spontaneous and Mao Mao has had a series of impulsive actions. Her predicting him would be different. By the way I’m knowledgeable on both shows.
 
Well, assuming Garnet pulls out the All for Nothing attack, it still wouldn't lower Mao Mao AP low enough for her to gain an Ap advantage, so I think she'll just throw off bubbles and seal him

She can’t throw bubbles, this is how they work. Also Mao Mao would still have his katana to try and cut them so I don’t think that would work. Garnet has her combat skill with her gauntlets, regen, and higher LS though.

(A few inches later) Ok so Mao Mao has quite a lot of hax but none worth noting. Neither does Garnet except sealing and BFR in which only works with like close physical contact.
As for the Stats, they're pretty much equal except for Garnet upscaling from Town Level in most of her stats.
Hmmm.. it can go either way tbh. Leaning towards Garnet very slightly due to her enhanced Gem physiology.

Gem physiology is a big benefit, though Geraldine can cut people into pieces with light which has been shown to be able to poof gems including when Garnet was destabilized by Jasper and immediately fell. Pearl poofed just from a stab through the chest.

How long does it take for Gems to reform? Could Mao Mao figure out to shatter the Gem?

It depends. Amethyst could reform in seconds but as Garnet pointed out, that was because she put little thought into her form and ultimately resulted in just being poofed again. Pearl took over two weeks to reform. Garnet would likely take time to recover, especially since it’s both Ruby and Sapphire in there. I think Mao Mao would be suspicious of two gems appearing once she’s beaten. But there’s a chance he overlooks it or tries to keep the gems even if there’s also a chance his sense of duty makes him destroy them immediately. I say worst case, Mao Mao has to poof Garnet twice before he shatters her gems.
