Sneak on his prey and kill them, I think. Otherwise relentlessly chase them if he's noticed.

Not sure what the stat gap is, but Garfield has Martial Arts, and can Regenerate.

The Oni's only edges seem to be that it can teleport & has stealth. Without an AP advantage, though, it'll have a tough time putting Garfield down, even if Garfield doesn't resort to chucking furniture at it.
Garfield has also bullied ghosts a few times, so I'm not sure he'd be scared, either.

Also, I'm surprised Garfield has no Enhanced Senses stuff on his profile. He's a cat. Does he not have any?
