Yes, she should, even funnier that most of both lifes were traped in something, but sinse Lápis was free for more time she should have better combat experience

Sorry for being so long. I had work all day. I’m going to rewatch Flame Princess stuff before I comment again but just know I think I want to make a CRT on Flame Princess. I don’t think her normal self should be high 7-C+ and I think she should instead vary for unknown to high 7-C+ when she’s angrier and has more fire. Because she goes from easily losing to the ice king and being put out by small amount of water to melting through one of Ice King’s ice mountains when it tried touching her (as strange as that sounds but the ice mountain had snow arms) and easily melting multiple other ice mountains. So I’ll be back later.

this battle should clearly be one sided well Flame Princess for a first is weak to water and I mean very weak while drops of rain can put out her flames literally knocking her unconscious, Lapis? she's a gem who's hard enough to be put down and most litterely an extremely powerful water user.

Anyways, anyone saying that Lapis loses because FP vaporizes her water clearly doesn't know how putting fires out with water works...
Fun Fact: Fire vaporizing the water is what puts the fire out. How, you may ask? Well, you see, water absorbs large amounts of heat when it evaporates into steam, reducing the temperature of the fire below its ignition point while simultaneously displacing oxygen, smothering the fire.
Additionally, Lapis can control water in all its states. Liquid, solid and gas. So not only does the water vaporizing mean nothing since Lapis can still control it, but FP would also be contributing to her own defeat by vaporizing the water.

Feels like a stalemate tbh Flame Princess could probably one shot Lapis with her AP advantage but she’s so cripplingly weak to water Lapis could do the same.

She did that while enraged and in a much larger form, the actual ice was only touching her on its arm from the noogie it was giving her. Normally even droplets of water hurt her very much and she can be completely doused by a snowman or a cup of water. Also Lapis can generate some water because that’s how she makes her wings but standard battle assumptions put the battle in Central Park, where there’s a big ol lake and easy access to an entire ocean.

She can control clouds and change the weather.

Got a clip of the clouds? The weather one she never condensed back into water though, and how could she do so with a continuous stream of fire heading her way and just evaporating it again. Ignoring how it vaporized a mountain of ice when she really puts effort into it, so Lapis is going to have no water left in seconds if she tries to just drown out Flame Princess since that’ll quickly lead to her using her giant form.

She did though...? In "Alone At Sea" Lapis changed the weather from a bright, sunny day to a heavy rainstorm...
The same way she changes the weather...? By manipulating water in its other forms...?

Again a mountain of water has vaporized on flame princess and when she’s in her serious state it didn’t put her out, the fire very clearly beats water when she putting in the effort.
Lapis would need to have time to even tell what is happening to change the water that way, which she won’t because the fire would go right through her water and vaporize her. Ignoring that controlling the weather has never been proof of any other water bending character being able to just change their vaporizing water back into water. Have any evidence of lapis using that in character mid attack, no because she never has.
