Lapis can create clones just as powerful as Rei to fight for and wear her out, after which Lapis can take her out. In addition, she is capable of all the natural gem abilities (like strength, durability, regen, sealing, etc) as well as the manipulation of water, ice, and the weather, all in a weakened state.

I personally say that Lapis take this via versatility.

P.S. Yellow Diamond stated, in song, that a Lapis Lazuli is capable of terraforming planets. Just pointing out Lapis' potential.

Lapis can't hit an intangible, thus literally anything she does won't even physically affect Rei

And of course Rei can just remove her soul.

Due to their nature as inorganic beings, Gems lack a soul and are thus immune to soul damage.

@Gargoyle Is Rei passively intangible? Her profile comes from her taking steps on the ground and releasing energy from the impact as a result implying she's not

It's actually a calc of the energy that she would release by stomping the ground due to sheer size.

This version of Rei is 200+ km of height.

Rei can't turn Lapis's soul into orange juice due to the latter not having one. Not sure if either can affect the other otherwise.

I mean yeah, rock also kinda lack a consciousness while i'm pretty sure that Lapis doesn't. But I don't feel like debating that right now.

In this case does something prevent Rei from hitting Lapis with an attack various orders of magnitudes above her dura?

I guess Lapis is pretty difficult to see and it would be like fighting a fly, but her water attacks are pretty predictible; also it takes to Lapis much time to gather all the Earth's waters, so she just going to start with minor attacks.

Relativistic speed vs Hypersonic+ speed

I mean I kind of assumed speed equal with that huge of a gap.

Also pretty sure that Lapis' clones are supposed to be 6-B+ if they scale from the CG

Although, the Relativistic speed is just for her water clones reactions and combat, in order to avoid such giant attacks is needed movement or flight speed, and in Earth Lapis speed is Supersonic (she only has "show" ftl speed in space).
