L Lawliet Revision Thread

This Revision Thread will be put into different categories.
1. A further elaboration of L's intelligence (since sometimes people seem to downgrade his intelligence when compared to other genius characters).
2. Other abilities that L should have.
L's Intelligence:
Now, I'm not suggesting that L's intelligence should be upgraded to Extraordinary Genius or something to that effect, but there are a lot more feats that L has displayed throughout the series that should upgrade his intelligence considerably.
L is described in a gag comic that he is the "greatest mind in the world".

At just eight years old, he was capable of preventing the outbreak of World War Three.
As an eight year old, Watari referred to his intellectual abilities as "outstanding".

Watari's intelligence in Death Note How to Read (admittedly not a perfect measure of intelligence) is ranked as a 7 (which is equal to Mello's intelligence rating), so the fact that Watari was complementing his intelligence this early on shows how intelligent L is.
In that same comic, after an unknown number of days looking at the computer (we can presume not that many, since no time skip is mentioned), L tells Watari to invest in stocks. The result is that Watari's assets grew to 20,000 times their original size in just two years.

In his teenage years, L was able to solve a case that had no clues in it.

By the time he faced Beyond Birthday, L's abilities equaled five ordinary investigative bureaus and seven intelligence agencies. Mello also states that this number grew by several notches by the time he faced Kira.
So, while the intelligence rating in the profile is not inaccurate per-say, it does leave out a lot.
Other Things which Should be Added to the Profile.
L was able to beat up a bunch of teenagers when he was eight years old without breaking a sweat.

He also should be upgraded to "street level with weaponry" as he carries around a gun even when he's not directly engaging in combat.

His reaction and combat speed should be superhuman, as he was capable of perceiving a tennis match in slow motion, and he was capable of hitting Light numerous times who could also experience that tennis match in slow motion.

He should also have subsonic to supersonic combat speed with the weapons mentioned above.
His stamina should increase to superhuman because he can stay up for several days and function normally. He's also superior to Light Yagami, as he wasn't breaking a sweat in his tennis match with Light, while Light was sweating considerably.
L should also get social influencing, as he regularly manipulated the Japanese Police Task Force to get what he desired. For instance, he lied to the police about how much he suspects Light Yagami. He was even able to get KIRA HIMSELF to think that he was beginning to trust him (I can't remember the exact scene, but Light was talking to Misa, and he said "Slowly, I'm winning his trust" or something to that effect).
L should also get stealth mastery, as Weby's ability to slip through security systems is considered to be "greater than that of L". That obviously must be impressive, otherwise the How to Read profile wouldn't mention it. Since Weby can slip through high tech security systems like the one L installed, that means that L also must have stealth mastery.
While this is not canonical and therefore up to dispute, he did disguise himself as a women in L: Change the WorLd. That would be disguise if you wanted to add that.
He should also get weapons mastery, as detectives are trained in the use of firearms.

So, in conclusion, L's explanation for his intelligence should be expanded to get a better idea of how he scales to other Genius Level characters, the explanation for his athlete level rating should be increased, he should have a 9-C rating by virtue of the fact that he carries a gun around, his combat and reaction speed should increase to superhuman ordinarily (would apply to Light) as well as have subsonic to supersonic combat speed with his gun, his stamina should increase to superhuman, he should gain social influencing, stealth mastery, and Weapons Mastery. You could also give him disguise if you want to consider sources which aren't exactly canonical.

Also, a note on the tennis match. We know that this is happening in real time, as L's voice reacts to the effort that he is using to hit the tennis ball. In other words, it's not like one of those scenes where L and Light are standing on a building in their own minds or something to that effect. This is actually occurring as the tennis match is progressing.

It doesn't matter how many regular members vote, you just need several staff members to agree for it to be accepted.

Anyway onto the topic;
Now, I'm not suggesting that L's intelligence should be upgraded to Extraordinary Genius or something to that effect, but there are a lot more feats that L has displayed throughout the series that should upgrade his intelligence considerably.
Adding justifications to L's intelligence is fine, though as you said, it's not enough for Extraordinary Genius.
His reaction and combat speed should be superhuman, as he was capable of perceiving a tennis match in slow motion, and he was capable of hitting Light numerous times who could also experience that tennis match in slow motion.
Hard disagree, they're not perceiving anything in slow motion, it's just one of those inner monologue moments where time seems to slow down, not to mention that there's literally nothing else supporting them having such a high reaction/combat speed for a verse where humans are literally just regular human tier.
His stamina should increase to superhuman because he can stay up for several days and function normally.
This doesn't seem like a superhuman stamina feat to me, above average could work though.
L should also get social influencing, as he regularly manipulated the Japanese Police Task Force to get what he desired
Seems fine
L should also get stealth mastery, as Weby's ability to slip through security systems is considered to be "greater than that of L". Skeptical because it's a fan translation done by someone off site, the accuracy is questionable.

But it is a minor addition, so I don't really care if it gets added.
While this is not canonical and therefore up to dispute, he did disguise himself as a women in L: Change the WorLd. That would be disguise if you wanted to add that.
As you said, it's not canonical, so I disagree with this being added.

It is one of the monologue moments, but the characters react to the events going on (For instance, L and Light's voices were strained whenever they hit the tennis ball in the scene). Furthermore, we know that they had this monologue in their head, as the revelation that they needed to go to task force headquarters was pivotal for scenes after that. Sure, not many moments support this afterwards, but it's not like this is a fighting anime where reaction speed is regularly demonstrated.

I agree with everything Purgy has said here.

Alrighty, so the stamina gets increased to above average, and the speed remains the same.
Since it has some knowledgeable members supporting it, and 7 people, I'll add it.
