Season 3 is more or less denied currently, thats why we get a movie instead. Just make it sell real good and the author might reconsider. I mean who can say no to money?

The movie is going out and it covers one of my favorite volumes YES! Hope that there's adaptations of spin-offs coming along the way too. Megumin, Dust and Vanir's spin-offs are just fantastic especially the latter.
