KNY Chapter 1-100 CRT.

I haven't seen much of the show but about this:

> Fire Manipulation (With Dance of the Sun God, Tanjirou can manipulate flames)

Isn't the fire supposed to be metaphorical? From the perspective of the Demon he's fighting, there is no fire present, it just gives the feeling of being burnt.

From the perspective of the demon??? Other instances where he had used it being shown from the demons perspective has shown fire

@AstralKing7; on the very next page after the one linked in the OP, there is no fire around him. It seems to just be artistic unless I've missed a statement in the series saying he can literally create fire.

Really don't know. I remember people saying in comment sections and forums that the water breathing style was supposed to be metaphorical for his technique, but i never found an author statement and this is likely a widely accepted fan theory.

Yeah, from what I understand the elemental stuff is not supposed to be literal.

Unless anyone can provide any evidence supporting it.

Yeah, it just gives the "feeling" of being burnt. I don't think that qualifies as full Fire Manipulation.

> when u the reader sees flames

If the fire is an artistic effect for his breathing-based fighting style, then it doesn't really matter what the reader is seeing.

Yoooo I forgot but do some of the Demon Slayers have healing!? I forgot Rengoku taugh Tanjirou how to heal himself with breathing a little

Then what exactly are the qualifications of fire manipulation

Cause another demons perspective has shown flames before

I thought of that last night. I don't necessarily think that's healing but just stopping the injury. Sorta of like breathing slowly to prevent poison from spreading.

Just realized Giyuu and Urodaki should have Attack Reflection and Statistics Amplification for the same reasons as Tanjirou, both being users of Breath of Water. This should possibly go to Sabito. All Demon Slayer Corps should get Absorption via Nichirin swords, as their ore absorbs sunlight.

I believe it's more than that. Tanjirou fought Rui, and fought despite the aura (also scales to Nezuko too, since she fought him). Later on Giyuu fights him completely straight faced.
