Even if Mario did kill Kirby he still can come back with ghost Kirby so I'm going with Kirby on this one.

So this is like, what, the third time this thread has been made? Perhaps even four or more if there was another matchup back when Kirby was only 5-B or something? Anyways Kirby, as usual, is far more versatile and haxxy, so I'm going with him. Plus the Time Beam would grant Kirby plenty of time to take Mario out.
Also, "At least 4-A" vs "4-A" is a pretty significant gap, and Kirby can increase the size of that gap even further with his Super Abilities.

While whoever has the experience advantage is up for debate, Kirby's far too versatile for Mario to deal with.
